@M Virdi, this is a very misleading video. The controls are not a straight swap. I learned the hard way! For starters, MY 2013-2016 L405 and L494 controls are painted, so there is no need for them to light up during the day. The 2018+ controls need to be lit up all the time. So when you do a straight swap, you end up with new controls that are black during the day. I suspect that is why this video ends where it does. I'm sure when they turned on the car they realized the buttons didn't light up. Also, the phone button and steering wheel heater don't work. You need the harness adapter to do this upgrade. Unfortunately there is no way around it. -- Hope this helps.
Yes, we have a solution 1. take the covers off (left and right both sides) 2. Turn OFF the car headlights 3.
