She puts so much of her authentic self into everything that she does. The visuals are so pure just like the lyrics and her delivery.
The video is even better when you think about how cleverly it echoes the lyrics. Floating down a river on a Floatie? You've got no control. Then even that's pulled back on and the whole thing is fake... controlled by someone else.
I was very fortunate to have been able to see her in concert. She was absolutely amazing! The concert was great and Adele was funny and adorable! Such a beautiful lady, inside and out!

Favorite Adele? 'Chasing Pavements' from Adele 19, and specifically her AMERICAN DEBUT live on David Letterman...her hair is up (lol) and has a 4-piece orchestra section, the arrangement is phenomenal and she lets it rip...but adorable how shy and demure still being new, you can see one of the chicks on strings looking at her from behind like 'come on, I know she's got this'. Adele found out her boyfriend was cheating, went to a pub where he was and threw a punch on him, she got kicked out and walking home alone staring down at the sidewalk she came up with 'Chasing Pavements' and started singing it into her phone. Adele won 'Best Female Vocalist' Grammy for Chasing Pavements and 'Best New Artist' Grammy for Adele 19. 'Chasing Pavements' is considered still one of her best songs.
And your thoughts on what is mediocre and not was brilliant bro. This music video, the treatment and execution by all who were involved… which I assume is a massive team behind the best singer and songwriter of a generation. Ours! ‘Sometimes the road less traveled is the road best left behind…’

Adele has possibly my favorite female voice (outside of Dolores O'Riordan and The Corrs ladies). She has so much feeling in her voice and that always gets my attention as you know. I like Kelly Clarkson's and Marie Fredrikkson's and Annie Lennox's voices too, what am I talking about lol. This is a cool video!
