Great video! Im decorating a broom for a display Im making for an upcoming family reunion. my gg grandparents got married in 1866 and I wanted to use some natural flowers and I think the baby's breath will be perfect and simple.

Thank you for the video. I got a gift from a friend and wanted to properly dry it to preserve it better :)

Do you soak the bottoms of the stems in water-glycerine mix before cutting and hanging? Or just hang as-is from the grocery store?

Yes, but I will say that they can become brittle over time in a really dry climate. I’ve never had that problem.

    How long do they last?

Thank you for this very helpful. Quick question, how would you go about dying baby breath flowers? Dipping them into food coloring or the have them in vase with food coloring/water?

    • @designsbyJ

I’ve never dyed it, but I’ve read that most use food coloring which you would need to do prior to drying.

Hi, can i preserve coloured baby’s breath?

Lay Ping Tee, you would dye first, then proceed to hanging upside down to dry them.
