Cool. I bought this same one. I noticed people who used the 2-tub machines were filling it with the shower head in their RV on RUclips but I had a hard time getting my washer to start washing when I did this. I'm glad you showed how to hook it up to the bathroom faucet. I think this is an awesome washer especially when there is a coin shortage for a while so laundromats are not really an option. I washed 2 pair of pants, 1 bath towel and a few pair of socks and underwear in one load.
2 Helpful Hints for you; I use Dawn dish soap the 3x or 4x for washing clothes about 1.5 tablespoons for a large load, plenty of suds; add about 2 inches of water in the tub then the soap wait couple minutes for suds to build up then put in clothes; works GREAT and SOOO much cheaper! Next, if you hang your clothes on hangers or a rod in the shower, get a dehumidifier (about a 70 pint or bigger) put it IN the shower and add a good sized Fan in there also, and close the shower door, open the roof vent fan, your clothes will dry much faster! or u can get a marathon clothes rack dryer on amazon...
I had a similar one by Haier in my RV. It came with a quick connect adapter that I put on the kitchen sink, and the hose had a permanent bend in the end to act as a hook and drain into the kitchen sink. When it wasn't in use I disconnected it and rolled it in front of the oven since I never used the oven and could still access the burners. It came with the optional wheels, but since I didn't want it rolling too easily I left it with 2 wheels and 2 feet and used a bungee to the oven door while driving. The hose got hooked on the oven handle. I let it go with the RV but those were very nice features, that are missing from this unit but maybe could be added?
Thanks from New Zealand got mine from the RV store 3.3kg called a sphere washer fully automatic. Got the same forcet you have so all i would need is an adapter for the inlet hose and I am away washing; when it spins it is on a roll a way board that i made, a board with wheels it is so fantastic so this would work for me if i needed to actually wash my clothes. My towels get washed in the sink then spin them dry, as my sheets it does handle one at a time and it is shorter than the washing machine cycle why wait sold out completely
It would be really cool if they designed the top/lid with little cutouts so that your drain hose and water hookup could lay into the drum like you have them during storage, but the lid would lay flat.
I just purchased a portable washing machine for our RV. To help save money doing our laundry. Mine is a twin tub one. So far so good. I really love this one. If mine fails I'm getting this one. It's more automatic than mine. I just get out the clothes hangers and clothespins and everything up. I would eventually might like to have a RV with a washer dryer combo in it. Never wanted one until we went full-time RVing. Lol.
Having a washer in the rig has been amazing! I can’t imagine having to go to a laundromat when we needed clean clothes 😖 You’ll like this one should you ever need to replace yours!
Thanks for posting this video! We have been talking about getting a washing machine for our rig for a while, and this looks like a really cool option. How do you dry your clothes?
I really want one of these in my apartment, that exact same model. I been eyeballing it for so long. But my landlord is such a snot nose that he don’t even want us to remove the aerator from the faucet. So I have to go for one of those ones that you can pour the water in yourself. The ones with a spinner on one side. Which I don’t mind at all bcuz I seen some nice ones of that type too. But I prefer the model that you have. Now somebody on Amazon said that you can pour the water in yourself with this model you have, but I haven’t seen anyone do it so I don’t know if I can believe it or not. But if I find out for sure that I can pour the water in it myself I’m all on this one immediately!
Just get it and return it if it doesn't do this. I don't see why it wouldn't though, I think they did mention the machine freezes if there's no water going in, but it unfreezes once it's filled? Not sure.
GREAT REVIEW!!!! Can you screw the water line into your handheld shower head rather than your sink? Is the fill hose a standard size that one can screw it into other options? Thanks
You could so long as you had the pieces or an adapter to pair the sizes. Into the washer, I believe is the same size as a garden hose, so you’d have to size up to that.
Hey Guys! Just found you over at another channel. We love connecting with and supporting fellow explorers! I am wondering what I will be doing for laundry when we hit the road full-time so am very interested in this video. Looks very nice - do you know how much it weighs? Will definitely subscribe to see more of the RV life. 😃👍
Hey! Thanks for stopping in 👋 The washer weighs around 35-40 lbs. like we mentioned, we were lazy about cutting the rolling cart to size... so we’ve been lugging it around 😂 Oh well, keeps us strong 💪🤷♂️😂
@@LetsHeadWherever Yup, gotta keep those muscles going. LOL Was wondering because we have a small 19' travel trailer so we would have to store it in the tub. I guess 35 - 40 isn't too bad....... ;-)
Yep you guys definitely surprised us! We were wanting a washer/dryer combo when we initially purchased our Solitude fifth wheel, but they are just sooo expensive. That is an awesome suggestion that you guys came up with. We have to sit down and crunch some numbers to figure out how much we spend in laundry each year. Laundry....the struggle is real LOL Keep up the great work you guys! We will be following your adventures #subscribed - Kyle and Renee
Thanks for the feedback! The quicker you can get the clothes cleaned the quicker you can get back to the fun stuff! Pick a scented detergent you love and the whole rig smells yummy!
Yeah, those combos look so nice... but the reality is we would have to do some major fabrication to our Reflection to fit one. Like... removing the entire closet area. This was a very convenient alternative that didn't require a sledgehammer 😂
Great video. Thanks! How do you deal with all the clothes being wrinkled? Jeans, underwear, socks aren't an issue but shirts would be. Do you iron everything?
Honestly, after hanging the clothes on drying racks, they aren’t very wrinkly! Leah does occasionally use her hair flat iron to touch up collars at times 😂🤷♂️
I use Downey wrinkle releaser on my clothes if they are wrinkled after they dry. I buy it at Walmart. It works really good. Been using it for years. I have the one with the spinner on the side. I hang the clothes up to dry and spray it with the Downey before I wear the clothes that might have wrinkles.
We upgraded from the hose with plastic fittings. Since we started using the meta hose we have experienced no leaks at all. We leave the water on for the entire cycle every time we wash laundry 👍
@@LetsHeadWherever where can I get or down load a repair manual my washer is not draining properly it drains but is very slow . Is there a way to remove the spinner to check if there is a plugged screen under the spinner any info would sure help tks
What do you all do to tame your mountains of RV laundry? If you're not an RVer, what's your laundry tip for long trips?
Nicely done video! Covered the details efficiently yet thoroughly and in a timely manner. I just subscribed!
So fancy to have a 'real' washing machine on the road! Thanks for the great overview!!
It’s nice not having to search out a laundromat or waiting for the small one in the campground 👍

We were pleasantly surprised the first load we did. It holds a lot for a small looking basin!

This make more sense than anything I have seen. I did not like the green bag or the 2 sided washer. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!

What a game-changer! Great walkthrough and details.

That would be nice. Having to stick the hoses under the lid looks a bit sloppy when not in use 🤷♂️
We love our portable washer and spin dryer! We've been using it full time for a year and a half now! Glad you found one that works for you!
After 45 days of summer hikes... it would’ve been a mess with all that stinky laundry 😬😂
A tiny home, or an apartment even van conversion

Yay! A video about laundry for the camper we are about to purchase 😊 could the machine live in the shower instead of the hallway when not in use?
Yes, it could but we didn’t want to have to lift it up out of there to use and when it was shower time!
How much power does it use. Year later how is it?
This was super helpful; thanks!!
That’s great to hear! Thanks for stopping by 🤙
How much water do you use on a large load to wash and rinse.
I have had mine a couple months I cannot figure out how to use all 6 programs like the ones under the word light
Thanks for posting this video! We have been talking about getting a washing machine for our rig for a while, and this looks like a really cool option. How do you dry your clothes?
We have 2 hanging racks we use. $20 from WalMart 👍
Have one and the clothes com out VERY dry, even compared to a regular washer. The impeller really works better than expected. If this helps.
We use a small RV dryer, there’s a lot of them on Amazon

@@urphakeandgey6308 I went for the twin tub type, and madly in love with it. I use it in the bathtub with a rinseroo hose over the shower head.
Where did you get the hose and the attachment for the sink
We got both at a local hardware store. I believe it was 3/4” garden hose into a smaller that fits whichever aerator size on the faucet.
@@LetsHeadWherever
Better pad a metal hose where it crosses the edge of the sink or the vibration in spin cycle may take the finish off the vanity.

Is the machine loud?
It’s surprisingly quiet. When we’re in the living room area, like 20’ away, we can’t hear it until it beeps at the end.
Yo compré una igual no sirve hace mucho ruido y está tirando mucha agua la boy a devolver!

Please tell us the name of the laundry soap.
How do you spell that?
It’s called Diva - smells wonderful!
Do you still have this & how much if you do?
How is this when washing towels at blue jeans?
Works great! We’ve washed all of our family of 4’s jeans and towels in it for the last 3 years.
What do you do for drying the clothes ?
We use drying racks. If we can’t outside, we leave them overnight with a fan on them 👍

What was the "delicious" smelling laundry soap again? Diva something?
Yes! It’s called Glamorous Wash - Diva! So yummy!!

Thank you for watching!
Could you wash a pillow in there?
I think so! We can wash queen sized sheets or duvet cover.
Anyone know how much water this machine uses for one wash?
We’ve never measured, but it’s several gallons each load.
