The Armani Luminous Silk foundation, as popular as it seems to be, was a fail for me. It left me with polka dot pores (I’ve never had a foundation do that on me before or since) no matter what I did. I find it important to hear about what doesn’t work for other people especially hearing the reasons.
I agree with you about that Lancome concealer. Its the worst at drying my undereyes I have ever tried and it just doesn't sit there no matter what I do. I actually think a lot of the CT products are overrated as well.
I also loved the bare minerals gen nude quad eye shadows and was really excited about the new palettes but you are the only person I follow who hasn’t been happy with them. I Brock down and bought the purple one when they had their 25% off sale. Fingers crossed it’s ok.
@@KZBeautyCoach the purple palette is nice imo. Colors are really pretty (but I do look good in purple tones.) the formula isn’t as good as my gen nude rose though. That one is really creamy and pigmented. This one is more powdery.
I would return the expensive products that didn’t work….I have no problem with doing that….Lancôme products oxidize on me , so I don’t bother with buying them….I have been using the Milani cream to powder foundation, it is so easy and quick to put on….I love lip liners, have you tried Jacklyn Cosmetics liners, I ordered one today…that is one of my weaknesses…always enjoy your reviews….
I haven’t tried that Milani but I want to now! I do have one of the Jaclyn lip liners and they are really nice. Also the new Buxom lip liners are amazing!
The Milani Foundation is suppose to be a dupe for KVD Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Hydrating Foundation Balm, have not tried the kvd, but I use a hydrating primer under the Milani, pretty finish.
Also I bought one of these little Maybelline pallets as well that Emily Noelle had recommended I think that’s her name. I don’t know how she thought it was good quality I thought it was awful same thing 🤷🏼♀️This was before the pandemic but yeah I mean I still have it it’s just it’s awful LOL I probably should just throw it away I mean if I had a teenager girl I would give it to her maybe but it’s awful

I think you are on to something about Charlotte Tilbury. Some of her products are just great but some are just not worth the money.
