The only thing I've tried from this brand so far is a concealer brush. The blushes are on my wish list. I usually use a brush for powder but like your method with the powder puff. Do you use any particular brand?
I like the Mario and the Nars better. The Mario is really an exceptional formula in that it is matte and serve as contour or bronzer. I love the Nars too but having the stick is actually really easy.
My youngest is getting married in March. I'm curious what you would suggest for a "mother of the groom" look.......and a good full-day foundation (without flashback) for mature dry skin?
Congratulations!!! So exciting! For a special occasion I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear applied sparingly. I did a video to show how to apply. It will not budge. Just make sure that you have done great skincare and moisturized your skin before application. I love using a radiant primer underneath also. Nars has a great one or the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is amazing. I would also recommend the Armani Luminous Silk for a special day. A setting spray will be your friend also like the Urban Decay All Nighter. Hope this helps!
That foundation wouldn’t work well for me. One thing I don’t need is a dry foundation on very dry skin! I know some people like a matte look, but my skin absorbs moisture in everything I put on it so I will look matte in an hour or two even with luminous, hydrating foundations.

I love the puffs from Jason Wu Beauty. I also like the triangle tip puffs you can get on Amazon.

Don’t get it Ginny! I can make it work but there are so many better foundations for us drier skin ladies.
