3:00 I remember fans swearing the huge figure coming down from the stairs was Ju Peter(Based on his positioning with the other elders before transforming) when it makes no sense for only him to be up there, his silhouette was hiding behind the other gorosei and we just seen a frame of Imu transforming up there so it only reasonable to conclude that it was Imu coming down glad the Studio made it more apparent

Imu sounds like they have multiple voices like they are 2 peoples voices at once like they were male 800 years ago, but needs to change bodies to live for so many years so we hear 2 voices. @@seeda5545 but the issue with that and saying it sounds female is we have male characters voiced by females like Luffy and now Sabo, we have characters that sound similar to Imu in a sense that are effeminate but still male like Frieza, and the issue I have (which isn't as deep as I make it sound) is that we still can't deduce anything about Imu off of the voice provided lol

It’s that their forms are heavily guarded secrets. Sabo wouldn’t be speed blitzed and it will lead to a bigger confrontation out in public. That’s why sabo and wapool were able to escape. If everyone in Mari knew about the forms of the elders and Imu, it would have been an all out alarm and more casualties

Also - I've held fast that Imu is a woman, but granted, that's still not confirmed. While syncing two voices and modulating it helps hide the true voice, it's noted that Imu speaks like a child. It's possible that they've had the youth surgery done on them while they were a child.

Given the fact that we learned on Egghead that Devil fruits were created by the wishes of men and the celestial dragons label themselves as gods, it would be highly likely that Imu is an acutal (sea?)devil that wants to reverse the roles through propaganda. Imu grants the gorosei immortality, summoning circles, has a devil tail and the yokai forms of the gorosei are unlike most of the zoans we've seen so far.
On top of that we got mythical hito hito no mis with god forms (for at least Nika yet). What if the devil fruits are actually god/wish/dream fruits that are just labeled "devil" fruits which insists that a devil lives inside of it while it could actually be that the fruits contain will, dreams and/or memories of previous users? The gorosei themselves stated that zoans have their own unique will and the mera mera no mi got into the hands of ace and sabo one after another (so logias might also have some will on their own).
So in actuality the gods of the worlds are the devils of this world (as Sabo said "hell") while the devil fruits users and the clan of the D. are actually the divine and dreamers who oppose the nightmarish devils agenda throughout centuries without it being recorded outside the poneglyphs.
Just a lot of random thoughts but the hints are here.
Sounds like a seasoned voice actress that is versatile in voicing mature women or kids, my bet is its Yuko Sanpei, Boruto's VA, she also voiced Pride in FMA brotherhood who also had a distortion in his voice although the distortion isnt as strong it is here, fitting for Boruto's VA and kid Sabo which is Naruto's VA to clash too.
Toei going with a distorted woman's voice over a masculine demonic voice really lends credence to Imu being a child theory imo as they would go use a masculine voice to make ppl think Imu is not a women if Imu is indeed a woman
You Can easily say they would be aware of that fact and ar using a female VA with Distortion Right now and Will switch it to a male VA once Imu is fully revealed. It’s entirely up in the air at this point.

You also forget that if it is as you say, they Will need 2 voice actors regardless despite of the voice Distortion. Oda has done a great job with Sabo, at first like you I thought he was a Ace reskin but he's diversifying the character and giving him his own "plot" n story, hell he's outshining dragon by a mile, he's become one of ppl favorites characters.

“Do you want the “D” sabo” and “I can add it in wherever I want” make me really think all the “D” is, is a mark of the past joyboy followers and luffy telling sabo, someone he trusts that he can add it in is Oda sneaking in how the “D” was originally established, that an imu being mad that cobra confermed the letter was signed with a D, making it feel like imu knew Lilly’s name didn’t always have a D, but adding the D showed she rebelled too the other side🤷🏻♂️
I just noticed that Sabo's flames were suddenly "extinguished" around at 4:02 after Imus glare. This may indicate a power to suppress df powers emitted by users with different mechsnics than BBs darkness fruit.

I’m sure I speak for everybody when I say, the whole scene when Imu was speaking, I was so glued to the screen and the whole scene. It felt so eerie yet I couldn’t look away. Fantastic scene. Great episode rip king cobra.
Fun fact: Imu was first shown on the empty throne in episode 889 and we hear him talk in episode 1119. Its just crazy that we are just learning the truth of an event that happened over 200 episodes ago.

I feel like whatever imu’s form is is somehow related to the yami yami no mi. Maybe the awakened ability allows the user to “compress”/fuse two people into one being that becomes a person of literal darkness, and that Imu was basically fused with Lily. It would explain why Blackbeard was one of the photos Imu was holding, because he’s the user of the fruit that made Imu what they are, and why Imu sounds the way they do. I can’t see the “Imu is in lily’s body” idea being right because if cobra saw Imu as lily, he would probably recognize her (or at least point out that Imu looks like his daughter). It would also make the fact that Imu has what seems to be a literal devil devil fruit power seem odd if they also possessed a body swapping fruit.

I been saying for a while but my theory is that IMU forcibly took over the original Lily body before she made it back home to alabasta. On some “if I can’t have her no one can” energy. What we see is some kind of fusion between the two probably being kept alive at that peak age thanks to imu’s fruit power.

I just thought of an idea that would make a good devil fruit, an awesome devil fruit. It would be called the cloud cloud fruit, and it would let you make Sky Island's island clouds. It would be a logia type devil fruit, and it would let you change your body to all the different types of the island cloud. It would also allow you to fly and create weapons.

I cannot for the life of me understand how anybody comes to the conclusion Imu is a woman! There's literally zero evidence to even hint at that! It's only wishful thinking. And tbh, I too personally think it would be really cool if Imu was a woman, but all available evidence suggests Imu is a man!
I will say (and I've believed this from the beginning based on Imu's very small stature), I DO think Imu is a child or like a young boy at least. So if people are thinking they're hearing a woman's voice, personally I think it's more of a young boy's voice IMO. I also think Imu is WAY smaller than people are giving him credit for. Just look how huge that seat is compared to him! Because of that, I don't believe the strawhat we saw him looking at is giant but rather Imu is just small. Of course, all this last part is just conjecture on my part, but I want it on record so that, in case I'm right, I can prove I called it lol
