Very rare to find honest reviewers like these nowadays. I’m waiting to pay down my kia k5 and trade it in with its trade in value plus put some money down as well to get 2023 or 2024 m3 comp xdrive. Congratulations on your purchase, I’m so jealous 😂
That orange interior really pops. For most people, yeah, that's probably a mortgage, but everybody's finances are different and you say it's a comfortable payment for you and you obviously love it, , and that's what matters. It does seem like you got a great deal for a barely used car when for most cars I think the sticker is the lowest dealers go for new. Also, yeah, sucks that interest rates are going up.
I lucked up with an allocation on my m3. Bad news is they didn’t lock in my rate so I ended up at 5.1% instead of 4.3 as I committed to but people were paying 6+%. I’m still upset about that plus they ordered it wrong. I financed for 7 yrs and no I don’t plan on taking that long because I hate paying a lot of interest. But for everyone’s info, I paid 13k down, sticker was about 84 and my monthly is 1231. Not cheap but like you said, worth it if you can pay it. This is my dream car and I went through a lot of school and work to get here. I probably bought a year earlier than I planned but Bmw is scaring me with threatening to discontinue the manuals! Lol. I’m hoping they do one more round in 2027/28 time period and I’ll get the last model with manual and keep it forever. Congrats on the purchase. I know I’m excited. Mine arrived in march and I’m already over 4K miles and I have another car just for work 😫. Point is, these car are FUN. I get excited when I have the chance to drive it to wherever!
That payment would be an albatross! I had an $1,100 payment and after 6 months, I couldn’t wait to get rid of my Quadrifoglio. Loved the car, but that much money for a payment took the fun right out of it.
In South Africa, a similarly spec'd M4 Comp XDrive with around the same mileage will set you back around $105 000. Our prime lending rate is 11.75% at the moment. So, over 60 months with no deposit, we would have to fork out around $2350 per month. So consider yourself lucky, that's a bargain. Current exchange rate $1 = R18.76.
Well I’m Ecuador that same car is around 160K (we pay about 110% in taxes for cars, plus the dealership profit). The interest rate for a car loan is about 17-18%. There is always somewhere worse. 😊 Bmw m4 2016 is around 110K
solid video. I have a 22 m440i Gran Coupe and that's enough for me. I love the M4 but with 4 dogs and a mountain bike, it just doesn't work. I make double payments a month of 1500 to pay it off and i still have have 24 months left. I can't justify 89k-95k.. Plus mpg of 16-18mpg with premium only of course. You did really well with this deal . I just struggle with the opportunity cost of what else I could invest that $ into .
The first 3-5 years nothing happens but major problem start happening after 50k . I owned two bmws and warranty is there which is a good peace of mind however issues happens after 40k-50k . My water pump blew when my car had 35k miles which was covered and then again it blew after warranty and emission issued happened in 65k. Plus they depreciates like crazy however fun to drive
Having owned, well kinda between various leases and financing, a few Euros (M5, M3, X5M, SQ7 and more ) I’m done with these rides.. Outta my system! ‘Downgraded’ ( as my friends call it lol ) to a Lexus LX and actually been quite happy.. Considering a LC500 to satiate the sporty itch! Of all the Euros I owned, BMWs have been the worst !
I have the same spec and pretty similar payment on a 2022..no regrets. Paying off aggressively 10k/month..4 months to go lol. It was my best “worst” financial decision to date
Enjoying the car and knowing that it’s making you happy, worths every penny. Some get that with a $5k car and some with tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Beautiful car and crazy money. I bought a new 2023 420d xDrive for half of what you paid, and diesel gas costs me $100/month (daily driver, 10K down, $400/mo, at 2%, living in Japan insurance is $800/yr) Yes, you can kick my butt on the highway by 4 seconds, but I'll trade the shame for the savings and the gas mileage (37mpg). It's a solid car and has seat-denting acceleration. You're younger and braver than me. Enjoy, and be safe!
🎉 congrats on your M4. Give yourself time to learn all the different ways you can use the drive modes. One thing that took me awhile was to use the drive stick to shift over paddles, makes for more intuitive manual driving. Enjoy your ride.
Honestly, with owning so many bmws I know that they stopped transferring the free services that come with the car so the only person who gets 3 years of maintenance is the original owner. The dealership could have gave you a maintenance part of the cpo program. I would definitely double check with them because I know forsure that if you bought the car directly from the owner, you wouldn’t have got any free maintenance. I hope that the sales person didn’t just give you false information about the 3 years maintenance.
Gorgeous car. I drove one about 3 years ago. And an M3 on the weekend. The acceleration is insane. And the handling is out of this world. And the exhaust sound is soooooooo good. As for the money, don’t worry. Enjoy the car. You only live twice. 😂
I also have a 2023 M4 Competition xDrive. But I put a lot more down. It's $1,290 a month. I trade my cars every two years. And never keep them past the factory warranty. It's a fantastic car.
Very enlightening. Enjoyed your recap and congrats on the vehicle! It's a stunner. I bought a similarly low mileage CPO Audi S4 last year and still am surprised it'll be under warranty for 6 years or 100K mi.
Actually DECENT payment. I own a 2023 M4 Xdrive Competition convertible. Spent $106k Like you put less than 10% down. Big payment too, but you only live once and special moments like this are well worth any $ amount. Glad you too enjoy your M4 Sai.
I just bought a 2023 M4 Competition and im glad everyone that has one has the same feeling . Of excitement/Nervousness .. All in all we will be driving in our M4’s 🎉
Nothing like driving what makes you happy and it’s a fine ride! People who grumble and say you shouldn’t, will live their lives judging others and worrying about their opinions of others and never live the life they want. They are always focused so much on what others should be doing, that they never accomplish anything of value in their own lives. All while not having the enough sense to realize that their mindset is the reason they are and will always be broke. Well done sister🤙🤙💪👏🚀
It is absolutely worth paying top dollar for a car that brings you joy. I recently purchased my 2nd bmw (2024 m340i), and I absolutely love it. You have a great performance machine, enjoy 💯🔥
I lucked out big time on my 2022 M4 cabriolet competition. I was fortunate to put 62K down and my payments are 985 a month on 7 years. Rate is 4.2%. Bought the car in 2021… I had a 2018 440 bmw cabriolet with 85,000 km. BMW gave me 52K for the trade in!! I added 10K and did 7 year financing. I’ll most likely pay it off within two more years. I’m very fortunate- my payments are unheard of and I dodged the luxury tax in Canada!! Congratulations 🎉 enjoy it!!
Nice! I’m looking at the same trim model, the prices have now softened a little. I’m happy to hear you’re only paying $200/mo for insurance. I have a sparkling driving record and am in my 40’s so I’ll probably get a better rate maybe. My biggest hesitation is the transmission not being as snappy as the DCT. I want a more visceral driving experience. So I’m not sure. Great vid!
Good for you & congratulations on your new baby!!! I must admit, after having just purchased a 2017 badass, matte black wrapped, M4 Coupe WITH a 6 speed manual transmission myself, your payment made me feel better about mine! I've been fearing the novelty of mine wearing off, because if or when it does, the $1,300/mo (with insurance) cost is going to make my butt pucker 😂 Until then, I LOVE Wednesday (her name) as much as you do yours & feel she's also worth every pennyI pay as well 😊
Insurance cost honestly sounds cheap for a performance car. Really great video and glad you're so happy with the car. Love BMW and hope to upgrade to an M one day
I’m a owner operator thinking of just saving so I can fully buy the car or depending if I just want to pay monthly just to drive my dream car already , but buying it full cash will just have a different type of feeling that makes me want to wait, I’ll be 23 with my dream car soon 😩
For such cars- one should definitely check and verify that the break-in service was done properly and that there no issues. I had seen many M3s in this miles range in the market - but I was super hesitant and bought a new one because who knows whether the car was treated properly before the break-in service.
As a car enthusiast I always say buy a car you enjoy because you will spends years of your life commuting so might as well enjoy it. I have a 15 F82 and plan to ride that out for another 2-3yrs. I paid $7500 this past summer on maintenance and repairs for clutch pack and other stuff and and around that much the previous yr for with new tires, transmission service, differential etc. maintenance and repairs are super expensive so I budget out every yr especially after hitting 100k miles. Planning on either switching up to corvette z06 or m4 competition all black.
Amazing build quality and the sound is so great and athletic. Must feel very special too while driving it with all the great quality materials, superb craftmanship and driving thrill. Love your orange colored seats as well.
Congrats on new car and thank you for honesty. You might want to consider going to m school or any other performance driving academy to get the most out of it. That car has a lot of potential
Its not alot of money if you have the money. But in about a year you will grow tired of it. I did this since i was old enough to drive and now at 60 still doing this. Never keep a car more than 2 years. Only problem now you better stay in a safe area because times have changed Thats my only worry now about cars , you become a target with a nice car. Good luck.
HA! I recognize exactly where you are, pretty much right in my neighborhood. Surprised I haven't seen it around yet. Beautiful car and I'd lie if I said I wasn't jealous, and hot damn that was a deal. Currently waiting for delivery of a beamer myself. Thought long and hard about the M3 but ended up wimping out, especially since I wanted to pay off most of the car on day of purchase. Went with the more modest m340 instead. Albeit I made sure it was xdrive and had every single package essentially possible. Indeed I can confirm, the car market is still wild. The national search to get what I was looking for was exhausting. Finally found one enroute to a dealer sitting at the port in Cali. Happy to say there will be a tanzanite blue one zipping around here soon.
Nice car! Congratulations! IMHO, Preowned is the way to go!! I went the poor mans M4 route...I lucked out on a CPO 2019 440i M sport with just 10k miles. I saved 14k versus new. Did all the mods to match the M4. The B58 engine is a masterpiece platform. Anyway, enjoy your new ride!
Cars are crazy anymore! I just got a Camaro SS 2023 and put 30k down and my payments are still $840 a month...but if you like something and can afford it why not reward yourself for hard work? Awesome car BTW, Congrats!!
I had an ‘11 e92 M3, a ‘15 F80 M3 and a now a ‘24 g82 M4 and BMW got it right this time. Car feels really special but they are in $100k prices now. Crazy. 😂
Thank you for sharing such personal details of your purchase, your excitement and pure joy definitely tells me that it was well deserved and worth it! Life is short, and tomorrow is not guaranteed!
I’m in the market for a M4 but I’m going to order mine, $1700 a month ouch, My build is going to cost $113,000 but I will be putting down over $50k, I’ve been saving a lot of money ever sense I sold my 2022 430i, I need my payments to be under $700 in order to afford my mortgage at the same time, You pay more then my mortgage of my house which is $1601 a month, I have a friend here in San Diego that pays $1500 a month that’s crazy, That’s a mortgage or rent for some people, Well my M4 is going to have a individual color, Bucket seats, Carbon ceramic brakes etc but it’s not coming for a while, I’ve been watching your channel for a while, I always watch your lambo, Ferrari what happen to those cars that you had
Everybody tax bracket is different. She’s making more than enough to afford that payment she’s not stupid. Different strokes for different folks. Not many people making over $20k+ a month. So a $1800 monthly payment gonna sound a lot to the average person who’s only making $4k-$8k a month.
A CD 🤨 I've never heard of that but after taking a quick glance at what I found on google and hearing what you said, I'm going to further look into this. Thanks for bringing that bit of info up
Drive it until the warranty runs out, sell it, and Run Run Run Away. Former BMW mechanic and five BMWs in the family. Code Throwing Machines. Good Luck.
I plan on buying one of these in October, but the market right now is beyond insane. I've personally set a budget of $90,000 (no financing) but even USED they're selling over sticker. It's been very frustrating looking online right now and still seeing these sell for a figure I personally deem too high. Several of those don't even have laser lights or xDrive.....
Insurance $200/mo!!?? That sounds way low. I'm paying that for my son to drive a 2013 Subaru. I'd like that confirmed. ...and just $150/mi in gas? My monthly gas bill is nearly $500. 😢
I went form a Lexus to a new X6 with all the bells and whistles. I made 5k off my Lexus trade, but after getting the X6 I started realizing that the car depreciates so much in comparison to other vehicles I didn’t want to be stuck with it until it was paid off completely, so I got rid of it after 3 months for a small loss. BMWs are amazing cars but the depreciation and the crappy service at the dealerships is a huge turn off. I guess it doesn’t matter if you plan on keeping it for a while.
I screamed out loud at the $1768 payment. Payment plus gas plus insurance alone equals $127,080. It cost you $30,000 to drive this car. This is an L in terms of investment. You're at the mercy of the future market when you sell too!
Hi Sai. Being watching your channel from your Lambo days. Congrats on the M4. Looks so awesome. I have the G80 M3, so I understand the high instalment. But I made peace with it as I love my m3 so much. All the best to you and congrats on your marriage. I also got married. Lol. So i understand your happiness. Take care and safe driving.
The interior reminds me of sammythelambo! I recently got a older model (2015 2 series) in Valencia orange and knew it was the one because of the color.
Hey Sai congrats on the G82 Comp! Wait I thought you didn’t like BMWs?! Been watching you since your C 63 S days back when you lived in the Bay Area. So here’s how BMW “free” maintenance works. They’re all based on miles and months. The OEM wipers for some reason are ridiculously expensive. The dealership is really strict on the months between intervals. If you miss your installation “anniversary” for the wipers by a month, you’ve essentially forfeited a year off your windshield wiper maintenance plan. It’s every 12 months so if next year you install it on the 13th month, you’ve essentially lost the last year of the maintenance plan for the wipers. I think it’s like ~$100 for the wipers and installation. For the oil change they’ll only give you one on the 10K mileage anniversary and subsequent intervals. I agree it’s better to change it more frequently but your maintenance plan won’t cover it. And for this reason you won’t want to be late on your oil change intervals either because you’re just losing out on subsequent oil changes going down the road. When you rotate your staggered tires, be careful the techs don’t scratch your rims. My friend for this reason would take his M5 to an independent tire shop just so they’d take care not to scratch up his custom rims. Not sure if this is your new daily driver but if it isn’t, you’ll want to make sure you put this car on a trickle charger. My BMW was mostly garage kept and I would drive it about once every 4-5 weeks. Had a lot of vampire power draw when the car was parked for extended periods. I had a low battery discharge warning on my iDrive and my SA was gracious enough to comp me a brand new low voltage battery under warranty, something that would’ve cost about ~$700. Lastly, go on Yelp or on the forums to research your BMW service department and especially your SA. I was very lucky to have an honest service advisor who ended up leaving the dealership. My next SA scraped my car’s side skirt during an appointment and lied to cover it up. My experience with the Mercedes-Benz dealership was even worse and the advisor tried to charge for things that were still under the car’s basic warranty. As bad as my BMW service experience was at times, I’d trust them a little more than the Mercedes-Benz service department. Goes to show you need to do your research and not just go with the default option. Your dealership experience will ultimately reflect on how good or bad your experience with the car ends up being.
That is a phenomenal deal especially given how the market has been, you really should’ve also gotten a lotto ticket after driving off the lot! Glad you’re enjoying it, I was going to trade my Alfa Romeo Giulia for an M3 Comp, but decided to not do it due to the price they were asking and how low they offered my car.
Congrats 🍾 hope you are still enjoying it. I currently lease a 23 x3M40i no money down. When lease is up. I want to lease a M3 , but I don’t want my car note to be no more than 1300 a month not including insurance so roughly 1500 combined or less.
That’s intense. My cousin leases the car in the east coast for monthly payment around 1300’s with only 3k down for the car being an xdrive 2023 in Isle of Man green.
You got a great deal on that car for sure. BMW maintenance and problems do happen, but not as much as people think. I had more issues with Mercedes. I’m looking at the Lexus LC-500 and just like your BMW if you find one certified Lexus gives 5 year unlimited miles. You can extend 2 years for 1700.00. You getting Maintenance is fantastic on that car because it’s about 30 percent more than Lexus for general stuff. I keep going back and forth because that V8 on the LC is awesome. Close to the same HP but BMW just has edge on handling. The LC convertible is ugly and that 4 is just awesome in convertible. I also checked out the 8 series convertible and not sure you know this but the 4 has about 3 inches more head and leg room in rear than the 8! So if you have a couple and want to go out there is room! That’s a huge plus for me. The LC is really a two seater. Hey thanks I really enjoyed the vid. Scott
Just wow 🥰🤩 So when we convert, it's *72 lakhs INR* But in India, this car costs *1.5crores* And that too the Salary level is wayy higher in US as compared to India. So it's actually a very very good deal. This car is like an Indian [in IT field who is way good in technical skills] buying Rs *30 lakh car* 🚗 ! Or lesser than that when compared to your purchase at US. So its a very very good deal !! This car is so much affordable for Americans than Indians with a similar skill-set ! Lucky u 😉
Nice ride we just got a 2024 M340i great car see all these people talking about how high these payments are I have a 22 Raptor and it cost me $1400 a month was look at moving up to a raptor R there selling the the $120 to $150k range the payment on that amount is astronomical also have a 17 Z06 was looking at selling and getting a C8Z06 but there selling in the $180K to $200K range payments on these high end performance vehicles are going to cost you over 2K a month for just the payment. My cap on a payment is $1500 so a new M4 CSL my be in my future.
It's better to lease A BMW normally after 4 years starts having issues. Normally they lose alot of value thats reason she probably got 10k off mrsp. Even though the car market is hot 🔥🔥🔥 people still paying 10k to 30k over sticker price. Then car dealers going to start increasing prices as a normal practice.
Very rare to find honest reviewers like these nowadays. I’m waiting to pay down my kia k5 and trade it in with its trade in value plus put some money down as well to get 2023 or 2024 m3 comp xdrive. Congratulations on your purchase, I’m so jealous 😂
Anything wrong with your k5
That’s a beautiful BMW. Don’t listen to people judge you about what you choose to spend your money on. All our situations are different!
Love your enthusiasm in reviewing your car and purchase. A car is not just a car when u buy a car that u have wanted for so long. Congrats!

Over 1700 for a car note is just crazy not worth it that’s a mortgage
a mortgage lasts for 30 years. She will pay off the car in a couple years and can probably comfortably afford it
But what if your house is paid off already?
Thats like the norm now cuz of the high interest rates and with 3.5k dp Im surprise its not more than 2k a month lol😅
Who gives a shit what she pays as long as she enjoys it
If you can swing it. Swing it. Bot an X5 and looking at the M3 in the future

I just got new vehicles myself and the smile you have on your face tells me a lot. I know that feeling and it’s definitely worth the monthly note.
Seems like you got a great deal. Good to hear your enjoying bmw life, even if no turn signals feels odd 😂
😂😂😂

Aaahhh… bitter Daniel. Very bitter Daniel. Sour 🍇
I’ve watched her videos in the past occasionally, I don’t see where she’s “awkward” 🤔
Lol you’re saying that cus she’s Asian
She’s not awkward…you just dont understand really intelligent people
Insurance cost honestly sounds cheap for a performance car.
1764$ omg 😢 Grats though.
Congratulations! The car looks amazing and you were able to get a great deal with money off and additional perks.
Good choice Sai. Good luck with her. I'm still enjoying my 430ixm I got in September. Cheers
$1768/mo. is fine for a car of that caliber. Plus it's an awesome comp M4. Congrats!
Great video, and yes, I loved the transparency. Thank you!
I had no idea M4s we’re almost 100K now!! 😮😮😮
Insane isn't it might as well get gt500
Congrats on new car and thank you for honesty. You might want to consider going to m school or any other performance driving academy to get the most out of it. That car has a lot of potential
Its not alot of money if you have the money. But in about a year you will grow tired of it. I did this since i was old enough to drive and now at 60 still doing this. Never keep a car more than 2 years. Only problem now you better stay in a safe area because times have changed Thats my only worry now about cars , you become a target with a nice car. Good luck.
Well said
Right place at the right time! Love the interior color. Thanks for sharing and great video🙌🏾
Thanks for the breakdown, beautiful car and solid deal. I thought $1145 for my m340 was a lot 😅 the cars drive so well, it’s worth it. Enjoy!
That is a lot....
What type of deals are you guys making? $1145 for a M340i and $17++ . I’m sure it’s the rates but damn.
You look more beautiful on that Orange seat 🧡 I’m looking for an M4 too in Germany
Really enjoyed both M4 videos! Thanks!
I just bought my 2024 BMW m4 competition xdrive today, the monthly is 1640 🥶🙂. Delivers in 2 weeks and I can't WAIT lol
That actually makes me feel good. I have the X4 and I thought I was paying too much but I trade damn near every year so it's expected.
Buying a new used is the way! I did some research after buying my car and regretted not buying the “used” one for a huge discount
Thats a beautiful beautiful beautiful bmw. Hope you enjoy your ride and feel proud for having spent money on this great machinery
Thanks for the transparency but this lady pays more for her car than I pay for all my bills combined, holy crap!
Hey first time seeing you vlog and let me tell you I enjoyed thanks !!
Love this video and how real you ! She not awkward she just really hyped and excited brooo ! Haters !
The seat color is beautiful! Love the orange!
Crazy. 😂
Congratulations! Enjoy your new ride😎
I have same annoying without the seat belt extender. Only found the solution for the buck seat, not the regular seat.
Love your vibes. Congrats on the M. Sheeeesh 🔥🥵
A CD 🤨 I've never heard of that but after taking a quick glance at what I found on google and hearing what you said, I'm going to further look into this. Thanks for bringing that bit of info up
If it is a comfortable payment at over 2000$, than go for it. Congrats on the new car. Enjoy it safely.😉
1800?! that's a mortgage payment!
As a BMW client advisor I can tell you she isn’t lying about anything in this video.
Insurance $200/mo!!?? That sounds way low. I'm paying that for my son to drive a 2013 Subaru. I'd like that confirmed.
...and just $150/mi in gas? My monthly gas bill is nearly $500. 😢
In Malaysia, a Mercedes E250 costs almost RM 400k. I used to pay RM 4000 per month just financing. That's just how it is in Malaysia
Loved the transparency i always wanted to know this type of stuff
You got ripped off big time, m4,m3 pre covid crazyness wen't for $800-$900 lease payment, you are paying $1768 is just insane for 90k car lol
I screamed out loud at the $1768 payment. Payment plus gas plus insurance alone equals $127,080. It cost you $30,000 to drive this car. This is an L in terms of investment. You're at the mercy of the future market when you sell too!
It’s all relative. $1,768 is ok if you make $25,000+/mo.
Admire your honesty. It is fantastic car. You are young, smart and well established so enjoy it!
Congrats 🍾 hope you are still enjoying it. I currently lease a 23 x3M40i no money down. When lease is up. I want to lease a M3 , but I don’t want my car note to be no more than 1300 a month not including insurance so roughly 1500 combined or less.
sales rep loves u right now
I really enjoy this car! Never drove the coupe, only the convertible. I put $150 in gas in 2 days 😂. Looks like you’re loving it!
Hi Sai, congrats on the new Beamer! I am currently looking for an M4 myself either 2017 or 18, any tips is greatly appreciated!! 😊
Great video Sai good to have you back very informative. 😅
Beautiful car, huge congratulations!
Appreciate this kind of vid
Smile of Bmw M4Comp owner said all..😁🤙⭐️
Congratulations 🎉 enjoy it. Drive safely.
my 2023 m3 comp retailed for 95k and i pay $1500/month as a lease with max MSDs put down, which was around $10k.
Scott
Enjoy your new car I also bought a new STI S207 limited edition performance cars are great fun if you drive them responsibly
My neck of the woods. I am in Cary also. Sweet car. Enjoy!
Just wow 🥰🤩
So when we convert, it's *72 lakhs INR*
But in India, this car costs *1.5crores*
And that too the Salary level is wayy higher in US as compared to India.
Lucky u 😉
It’s not a lot of money if your able to afford it. As long as your happy and made a smart decision about your purchase.
Thanks for sharing! Curious to what you both do for work to afford this!
