I did the same trick with my o levels for the past 3years so you’re 100% accurate. I give you a standing ovation you’re a true IG student to the heart❤️❤️❤️✨✨
Orr you can make notes for every end of topic test using multiple resources (which is still making notes as you go along, just not after every lesson but rather at the end of a chapter) and then keep modifying your notes throughout the year by adding things from mark schemes as you do practice questions and removing irrelevant info. I feel like the title of the video gives the wrong idea that you should leave making notes til right before your exams which will just make your life a lot harder.
digital notes/digital flashcards(e.g anki or quizlet) are even better because you can easily edit your notes rather than crossing them out as you would do with paper notes! i'm doing this for my bio spec and it really helps!
where do you get questions/markschemes for each topic? i find some but struggle to find specific ones as i’m going through the spec and i don’t want to miss anything out
@@fiz3509 but I've been doing a lot of exampro exam questions and even though they have the same keywords, they're inconsistent and are different for each question. @@hplus1 keep going w practice questions! I know the mark schemes can be hard but they will help you adapt to the exam technique and you’ll be able to answer and apply questions much easier when it comes to real tests.

@@benaxon9721 Hi I'm thinking of doing A-level Biology.I see so many RUclipss talk about doing flashcards and I'm wondering if you use this method of revision?Because I've never used/made flashcards for revision in GCSEs but in preparation for them I found doing past paper exam questions to be very helpful. So in short do you think, as long as I re-cap notes/use textbook etc , use active recall methods e.g"blurting" & past paper exam questions I'll be fine.
You can make revision sources as you go along, but just use the textbook and spec info Instead of classnoyes
What textbook ?
@@samuellacobbinahhopefully the one they gave you

How is memorizing mark schemes useful if exams are very different each year
Similar questions I think
because the mark schemes use specific keywords

yeah I'm so confused on how to do this

Different mark schemes are saying different things. Help !
Ik the content, its what I’m good at but I don’t get marks
I have my a levels this year do you think I’d be able to make most my resources now and be okay or is it too late? Xx

Could you possibly share your notes
How long did it take you to make your notes since you used so many different resources?
Tasnim Zaman Probably like 4 solid hours each day xxx
Do you have a copy of your notes?
so no mind maps?
is using the specification and multiple mark schemes a good way to make notes?
oh god Yes but you should use all available resources as well, including textbooks. Specifications aren’t very detailed either x
Shouldn’t you use flashcards to condense you’re notes though by only writing key points, since there is a lot of content?
ExposerDanTv Some people do but I preferred not to for biology / chemistry as it often meant I lost marks by not writing things EXACTLY as is
what is the best way to actually learn the content
Lola Xmed Personally, mindmaps! 🥰
pls make on vid on maths I'm dyingg
