Hey tns, i recently just bought marvel since it was on sale, ive been watching for a while and have really enjoyed the spectator experience however im now struggling to figure out a team and just a lot of the mechanics in general, is there a good place to learn them?
While they are a bit old now, Maximilian dood had a serious call Assist Me that combines guides and skits, if you want a fun watch while also learning the basics, I recommend those.
do missions, then go to practice and copy combos. are try to mix combos from missions with whatever you like. if u have the time and effort you can make a character shine like cockyjay's Jill
I agree with Will, the assist me skits and figuring out the combo trials in general will help greatly. As for finding a team, that's your call. Play what you like and you'll be sure to enjoy the wins you get and the losses you learn from. Also, play people. Practice is good, but experience is where all the lessons lie. To struggle is to learn, so don't be afraid to.
What you said about Jill's throws also applies to Zero, Vergil, Morrigan, and Dante. Zero, Vergil and Dante all need to use some sort of resource, and it can't even be done at all with Morrigan, so why don't I ever hear about that with them?

I always watch Tampa on RUclips. Tampa really keeps mvc3 alive for me. I love the game but can’t play anymore due to work and life.
