Hearing Ottie constantly talk about the Isle of Wight was so sweet, because she held such a lovely memory of it. So then you guys taking her for her birthday was best. I didn't follow the vlogs every day because I wanted to save it for September, considering it's about to be very hectic (I'm a kindergarten teacher) so vlogs will be my little treat at the end of the day. I would like to thank you for your effort,time, but also for your sacrifice in giving us a glimpse into your family every single day for the past month.
I'm saving this last vlog for later, but I wanted to comment to say thank YOU, Zoe and Alfie. To Zoe, I've been watching since around 2013 or so. You were the first person I ever heard talk about having anxiety back when I was in my 20s, and I realized that I had been living with an anxiety disorder for most of my life because of you sharing that piece of yourself with us. I've been able to get help with it, and things are much better now. You were the catalyst for me prioritizing my mental health. Watching your growth throughout the years has been incredible. Even though we don't know each other, you're someone I've always related to immensely. Being the same age even while living drastically different lives has always been a comfort in being able to have your videos as a constant through every milestone. You are an incredible mother and you shine as a partner and friend on screen. To Alfie, thank you for showing me what a healthy and loving partner and father looks like. You're the definition of positive masculinity and your girls are going to have the best guidance in life. The way you interact with Zoe, Ottie, and Novie is so joyous to watch. You are an amazing role model and I LOVE how you and Zoe keep each other laughing all the time. And then to both of you: Last year during Vlogust, I was freshly going through a break up of an 8 year relationship with the person I thought I was going to marry. The vlogs you both put together were some of the only bright spots in my days during that very dark period and I am so grateful for them. I'm happy to say that this year during Vlogust, everything is looking up and I'm on the way to achieving some of my biggest dreams in life. Thank you for being here through all the ups and downs. I think I've finally realized why I love youtubers so much. Zoe & Alfie, I've been watching you both since 2014 and I feel like I know the both of you like one of my best friends. I am now 30 years old so I feel like I've grown up with the both of you. But its the weirdest thing to stop and think about how you both don't know anything about me while I know a ton about the both of you. Its a completely one sided friendship in a way but that's what I love about it. I get these "friends" and there is 0 pressure in the "friendship". No commitments, no potential arguments, no stress. Its so relaxing for somebody like me who is anxious so often with everything else in life. Sorry for the random ramble lol. Just thought I would say thank you for the many years of friendship :). My favorite moment was it tied reaction to seeing your family on the ferry I genuinely cried and it warmed my heart so much seeing how happy that little girl is. I think some of us who didn’t have the best upbringing can appreciate all the love and effort Zoe & Alfie put into parenting it’s such a blessing. I've been feeling anxious with this being my last year and last summer break (eep!) and Vlogust has genuinely brightened up the August days. Hearing Ottie constantly talk about the Isle of Wight was so sweet, because she held such a lovely memory of it. So then you guys taking her for her birthday was best. And hearing Novie get more and more vocal was the cutest. It's really wild to see how much grow happens with babies, even just the course of a month.

I didn't follow the vlogs every day because I wanted to save it for September, considering it's about to be very hectic (I'm a kindergarten teacher) so vlogs will be my little treat at the end of the day. I'm saving this last vlog for later, but I wanted to comment to say thank YOU, Zoe and Alfie.
To Zoe, I've been watching since around 2013 or so. You were the first person I ever heard talk about having anxiety back when I was in my 20s, and I realized that I had been living with an anxiety disorder for most of my life because of you sharing that piece of yourself with us. I've been able to get help with it, and things are much better now. You were the catalyst for me prioritizing my mental health. Watching your growth throughout the years has been incredible. Even though we don't know each other, you're someone I've always related to immensely. Being the same age even while living drastically different lives has always been a comfort in being able to have your videos as a constant through every milestone. You are an incredible mother and you shine as a partner and friend on screen.
To Alfie, thank you for showing me what a healthy and loving partner and father looks like. You're the definition of positive masculinity and your girls are going to have the best guidance in life. The way you interact with Zoe, Ottie, and Novie is so joyous to watch. You are an amazing role model and I LOVE how you and Zoe keep each other laughing all the time.
And then to both of you: Last year during Vlogust, I was freshly going through a break up of an 8 year relationship with the person I thought I was going to marry. The vlogs you both put together were some of the only bright spots in my days during that very dark period and I am so grateful for them. I'm happy to say that this year during Vlogust, everything is looking up and I'm on the way to achieving some of my biggest dreams in life.
Thank you for being here through all the ups and downs. We don't know each other but you've both had a huge impact on me, so once more I'll say thank you. ❤

I think I've finally realized why I love youtubers so much. Zoe & Alfie, I've been watching you both since 2014 and I feel like I know the both of you like one of my best friends. I am now 30 years old so I feel like I've grown up with the both of you. But its the weirdest thing to stop and think about how you both don't know anything about me while I know a ton about the both of you. Its a completely one sided friendship in a way but that's what I love about it. I get these "friends" and there is 0 pressure in the "friendship". No commitments, no potential arguments, no stress. Its so relaxing for somebody like me who is anxious so often with everything else in life. Sorry for the random ramble lol. Just thought I would say thank you for the many years of friendship :). You both are amazing people and I love watching you strive as parents. This Vlogust was incredible

I’m truly sad this August has ended. As a grandmother my heart was so full watching your families come together for Ottie’s birthday. It’s great to see such a lovely consistent non fiction family raising their kids with love and kindness. For those (of us) who didn’t have such experiences this goes a long way in helping override the very different templates we were raised with. I'm one of the silent viewers that's been watching your vlogs since 2015 (when I was still in high school!) and now I'm in my final year of university!! I've been feeling anxious with this being my last year and last summer break (eep!) and Vlogust has genuinely brightened up the August days. The vlogs came in at 12pm EST so it was even more perfect as I would watch them at work during my break. Thank you so much for sharing your daily life and your family's milestones this month! It honestly felt like old RUclips was back again for a bit and I was transported to 2015/16 whenever Alfie would upload his daily vlogs but this time we have new additions to your family. Ive been a silent watcher of these videos for the last 15 years but something about this vlogust in particular really struck a cord with me. Ive been watching these videos since I was 10 and Im now 25. And I think im very similar to Zoe, and many others here im sure, in the sense that I really cherish nostalgia. And these videos have become that and so much more. Having slow, familiar, real-life content to come to after all these years, really does mean more than I can say.
