I’ve the 13 Pro since December 2021, battery health is 85%,when they show off the 16 Pro/max I’ll decide whether to get pro or max and if not I’ll just get a new battery for the 13 pro,battery still lasts all day anyways but a new battery would be nice after a few years of use,13 Pro/max is too good longest I’ve held onto a phone,doesn’t even seem slower or anything like that
I was compelled to get the 15 pro max, but I chose the 13 PM and saved money and I couldn't be more happy. The iPhone 13 PM is a great device even in 2024.
The 15 pro max has an horrendous resistance, it snaps the back panel really easily… You made an excellent decision. I only hope the 16 pro max have improved that flawed design.
@@soniccinos nah, the build quality on 15 pro max is excellent. mine still looks 100% brand new after a quite a few drops there are no scratches to be seen, and only a couple of days short of one full year of every day use now, the battery health is still at 100%. there would always be scratches and battery life would be at 92-93% at this time of the year on any other iPhone I had before. also, as a bonus I'll be getting apple intelligence on it whenever it rolls out , so I don't feel upgrading for at least a year or two will be very compelling to me. 15 pro max is a very good phone
I switched from the 13 pro max to the 15 pm and within 5 mins it felt like exactly the same phone, Dynamic Island I’ve hardly ever noticed and with a case the titanium is lost anyway. Having said that I think this year may be the game changer as ai is featured and the 15pm is the minimum spec compatible.
Loved the 13 Pro. Just upgraded to the 15 Pro max and it’s much more comfortable to hold with the lighter weight and the rounded edges - very noticeable and welcome over the 13 Pro Max’s heft and sharp edges. Side by side the bezels and notch make the 13 series look dated now. I take a lot of photos and the 15PM is a big jump up in quality imo love the 5x telephoto lens and the 5x portraits are🔥 Barely anything between them like opening apps etc but editing, sending photos, videos etc the 15 PM does perform quicker. Nice review of a great iPhone! 😁

I just bought a 13 Pro Max from the APPLE refurbished store for my wife. I felt it was time for an upgrade from her XS Max and looked briefly at the new 16 Pro Max, but for value the like-new 13 Pro Max was the smart choice. She is not a tech person and doesn’t need all the newest advanced features, but the 13 Pro Max should be a significant upgrade maybe even she will appreciate, and especially with battery life (the XS was in need of a battery replacement anyway). Looking at informative videos like this maybe to justify my decision ;-), like here many saying it is [still] maybe the best iPhone APPLE has made.
Iim thinking of getting these on backmarket with replacement battery or the iPhone 16+ as these would be my first iPhone. I'm an android user and just wanna have an iPhone to try what would you recommend thanks

@@asfaltweg I think the notch looks cleaner, doesn't cut into the iPhone as much. Is just something that every time I think I might upgrade, that is what turns me off from doing it. That and since I'm not picky on the camera (all iPhones cameras have been amazing since like the 4), the iPhones have not changed that much at all.

If 4 years is your target and you still want to find a good deal, hold off until the iPhone 16 comes out in a couple of months. Then go get a good conditioned, used iPhone 15 pro max. Bought a used 13 PM 1Tb for $650. The seller had a screen protector and case since day 1 so it's like brand new. Maybe a few scratches on the side from the case removing. But I am very happy with it! Went from a Samsung S23+ to this. But battery is 83% is it good?
I am an android user ,Samsung. But i occasionally switch to an Iphone. . I had the 13 pro max. For me this is the best phone i ever used. I use yeh Samsung Galaxy Ultra s23 now. This is also a very good phone. The best version Samsung ever made. But the Iphone 13 pro max wins .

First do you prefer android or iPhone? If android, check out the Pixel 8 pro. The 9 series is released in August and the 8 pro, which is already $500 on eBay, will be even cheaper. Id take that over the S23. If apple, 13PM is still a solid option.

How many more years of updates will this phone receive? You said 2028 but I could actually see 2029… In my head I’m actually thinking that the iPhone 13 Pro series will actually last until the 14 base models. This is because the 13 Pros are identical to iPhone 14 in hardware (A15 Chip, 6gb ram) and better than iPhone 13 base (A15, 4gb ram). Also if SE3 gets minimum 6 years that extends it to 2028 which means 13 and SE could go together, then 13 Pros and base 14 maybe. I also think this gap will widen starting with iPhone 15 series as the naming scheme of the chips implies there is still an unreleased a17 chip.
Everywhere I read, it says 2028. With that said though, Apple has been known to support their phones for more time, it's just not a firm guarantee. You installed the iOS 18 beta? Then definitely I’ve had my 13 pro max since nov 2021, it still looks and works like new, even the battery is still pretty decent at 84% capacity. I also installed iOS 18 beta and tbh it completely drained my battery, so I went back to 17.6 with no regrets.
I will await the reviews for the iPhone 16 pro max, if it turns out it’s the same piece of crap that snaps with just small force like the 15 pro max, I will still stick to the 13PM.

Battery life is still great, got the 13pm day one. But brightness is starting to affect my daily
I don’t think that the 13PM will support the upcoming Apple Intelligence features in IOS 18. Thats the main thing to consider for me.

I have a s24 ultra and z flip 6. I may just keep the 13pm just coz... lol. I'll also be able to use imessage and facetime with friends etc still which I'm not sure I'd miss with android only 🤔

I’ve had my 13 pro max since nov 2021, it still looks and works like new, even the battery is still pretty decent at 84% capacity.
I also installed iOS 18 beta and tbh it completely drained my battery, so I went back to 17.6 with no regrets.

I will await the reviews for the iPhone 16 pro max, if it turns out it’s the same piece of crap that snaps with just small force like the 15 pro max, I will still stick to the 13PM.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has 5 times optical zoom. The 13 Pro Max has 3 times optical zoom.
