@@funtycase2043 OK glad it worked. I had to remove some of the third-party VST's so everybody could use it, so it might sound a bit different from the video. I tried to compensate with additional saturator on the amen.

@@STRANJAH yeah I assumed it was cos of trash being took away, its only when u lower volumes but when cranked up its bang on. Although releasing the full effects chain would be amazing

I find when I'm NOT using the amen break, I have a real hard time making my choppage sound smooth - in other words it always sounds too "jumpy and stuttery". More like the out there Squarepusher tracks and less like the dope 90s Remarc chunes. I would love to see a video on how to make "flowy" choppage when you aren't repeating a 2 or 4 bar pattern - I want to go all over the place with the chops like Soundmurderer! Or another cool tutorial idea would be to take a classic choppage song and break down the chops throughout - kind of like you did with the classic amen patterns vid - but not just the single pattern - over the course of all of the stanzas on the record. Keep making dope videos Stranjah!

I'm an old codger & original Junglist - as a teen I used to buy records from Ray Keith himself ! @ Blackmarket Records in Soho, London as far back as '95 - I was a regular at Metalheadz's Sunday Sessions @ the Blue Note as well as Bukem's Speed nights @ the Mars Bar in Tottenham. Wish you could have been there - Seminal times! Believe me when I tell you - you're a credit to the genre and I salute you for keeping the skills and vibe alive - for a more global & newer audience...as well as teaching this ol' dog a few tricks.
