@@ThatSECPodcast Appreciate the response. Hopefully the playoff bracket is different as Arizona State could be a trap game and now Notre Dame has hope. Enjoy your New Year. Blessings to you and the family.
What nobody wants to recognize is that portal has changed the bowl games. Sec teams are not at full strength. For instance, OU had around 25 players hit portal. Not same team. Sec is still top conference. Texas still killed michigan who beat Ohio st. Georgia still beat clemson senseless. Bowl games just don't mean squat unless your in playoff.
But alabama was nearly fully strength, while Michigan had atleast double the opt-outs. Also I dont really care that OU had 25 hit the portal, the fact is they still lost even with the second string, when in reality they still should've won that game. Also the fact still remains, you couldn't even beat NAVY with the 2nd stringers. That shit is just sad. Also USC had more opt outs in their game against Texas AM, and they barely won. I will say the SEC is still a top conference, just like the Big Ten is a top conference.
I tell you what I think the interesting story is, we have to get down to what… 85 players and we have Ole Miss and Auburn bringing in and portaling in about 35 players. So only 50 players on the current roster can stay. Massive turnover

I was cracking up when Beamer acted like he wanted a piece of Beliema… what was he going to do if they didn’t hold him back and he finally got to him? Umm… can you say ‘size difference?’
Happy New Year! 🍾
I think DeBoer consulted with Day to know how to give the game to Michigan and he followed his advice to a “T”. 😂 BTW, Nick Sheridan played as a shitty QB at Michigan. 😂😂😂😂
The sec. Hates UGA. Man that schedule for next year sucks again
Big10 knows how to schedule for who they want to win.
Indiana BEAT Michigan and that is why they were in playoffs but Alabama could not do that and lost to TWO six loss teams, sorry no playoffs for that awful resume.
Well as a vol fan we got beat the worst as far as points now isnt that something to be proud of
Well the Vols at least got hammered by the starters for a monstrously talented team. UM had like 12 starters not playing. And IL is …. Well, Illinois.
@farharbor3178 Illinois ain't that bad they lost to Penn State and Oregon
@@MarvelandStarWarsProductions Illinois’s is trash and that’s comming from an out fan
@@MarvelandStarWarsProductions they also nearly lost to Nebraska, and the game was saved by a ref
16.5 favorite 🤦♂️
The truth is, they should not have been favored by that much.
With the rules changing next year to allow schools to revenue share with athletes, maybe the schools can have some leverage to make the best players finish out the season?
If anything... Milroe is on some NFL practice squad:)
I think we can put the "SEC strength of schedule" argument to bed. Apparently the Big 10 has some good teams as well.
04:30 After Michigan called a time out Alabama drove down the field, but it only resulted in a FG, not a TD.
Bama will likely make a big comeback next year with a real QB.
Happy New Year
Mike, did you just say the post season didn’t mean enough to the Vols to put in an effort? And that’s why they lost… cause they didn’t care?
You need a friend there to help you when you say dumb stuff. Get a friend.
No
Has there ever been a bowl season like this for the SEC as a conference? Honest question as a first year SEC conference follower, aka Texas Longhorn fan.
Not where the better teams have been losing, the SEC has lost all the lower tier games a few times.
@@ThatSECPodcast Appreciate the response. Hopefully the playoff bracket is different as Arizona State could be a trap game and now Notre Dame has hope. Enjoy your New Year. Blessings to you and the family.
never, The SEC has had the best record in the bowls almost every year for the past 30+ years
No because college football has never been watered down like it is now!
@@thumbsaloftWatered Down translation…B1G spanking that SEC rear end
All my life Alabama has been able to run the ball 🏈. Until now.
so much for talking crap about Texas not playing anybody.
Been that way for years
I tell you what I think the interesting story is, we have to get down to what… 85 players and we have Ole Miss and Auburn bringing in and portaling in about 35 players. So only 50 players on the current roster can stay. Massive turnover
Admit it DS, your conference is the dogshit one. ROLL BLUE!
Big 10 is just better
So why did Milroe play today? What did he prove today? But SMILEY 🤡 will take him back. Because he played with fire in his eyes, whatever the f…ck that is supposed to mean??
Alabama starting with wrong cleats cost them a number of points early (coaches), but then the lack of Alabama's offense was ridiculous. Michigan beating USC, OSU, and Ala was ridiculous this year, LOL. Michigan beat all these teams without a QB.
SEC is overrated. Georgia loses to Notre Dame. Alabama loses to Michigan, and Arizona State outplayed Texas, who was gifted the game by Big 10/ESPN officials.
“Deboer won’t win shit at Alabama” I don’t know if I’d go that far, Alabama beat most of the good teams on their schedule, a strong nucleus is there.
I'm starting to worry for Ga, now!~
Same, I'm out here yelling for the Gamecocks and they do this to me 🤬
To be fair, this was a pretty good Illinois team
