    Hi Tiffany! I’m a native Nashvillian living in Boston and your suggestions are solid! May I add more suggestions?
    1) Radnor Lake, especially in the next 2 weeks. Take a walk, enjoy the autumn vibe.
    2) Historic sacred spaces around town. Start with Downtown Presbyterian and then branch out!
    3) Celebrate the Nashville heritage of Meat-and-Three! Places like Arnold’s, Elliston Place Soda Shop, and Wendell Smith’s. All historic places.
    Any more ideas about my home town? Please ask!

    If you go to Hermitage, be careful in the Slave Cabins! The entrances are so low! They warn you, but I didnt realize how low they are, and smashed my head going into one of them. Knocked me smooth out, and gave me a concussion, and a nice lump on my head. Not my finest moment!

    Also, Opryland Hotel's huge indoor gardens/atriums are open to public. You don't have to stay there. Park at the mall by the theater for free parking and just a 5 min. walk. Very good overview, though!

    I actually follow you for information on Tennessee since are considering moving out in the future to retire. We are coming out for a visit in June and I stumbled across this video from a year ago and it was so helpful. You saved me hours of reading and research. Thank you so much!!! I especially liked that you didn't spend and a ton of time on any one particular place. You got right to the point! Excellent! 😁👍

    Thanks 🙏🏻 I’ll be visiting Nashville in 20 days coming from McAllen, Texas . We head there on July 27th and return home on July 30th early morning. So I really just need suggestions on what to do for 3 days I cannot go to the bars I’m only 18 years old going on 19 so that’s out of the equation. I’m sure there’s plenty to do there for 2.5 days or 3 days there that’s appropriate for my age . I’m going to the George Strait, Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town concert the 2nd night on night 2 of 3. Will be staying at the Westin in Downtown Nashville for those 3 nights

    Great video! We will be visiting for the first time in July. Which street/neighborhood would be the best for kids to go to? Also, I e heard parking is very difficult and expensive. Should we bring razor scooters for the sidewalks or something to get around or do they allow people to ride in those on the sidewalks? Thanks!

    • @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany
      @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany  Год назад

      I would recommend the zoo and adventure science museum. And parking can be just depending on where you want to go. But it’s mostly just downtown and around Broadway that is usually difficult for parking. The city does still have electric scooters in that area.

    Hello, This video is sooo helpful, thank you. We're looking at moving, but planning a visit next month. I have a question as well be visiting with a teenager. Here in the Chicago area, there are a lot of alcohol establishments that allow our son, as long as he's not sitting at the bar. But also many places that make us leave at 8 because he's under 21. Do you know if there is a good list, or video, or "key word" we could use to figure out good places to sit and listen to live music with beers AND our family? Looking fir kid friendly stuff seems geared toward very little ones.

      Most places on Broadway are all ages during the day and switch to 21 and up in the evenings on Friday and Saturday. I think this list should be helpful for you!

    We visit the Zoo in every city we go to. I must disagree with you on the Nashville Zoo. It was one of the worst we have visited. With so many other great things to do around Nashville the Zoo should be left to locals and passed by tourists. I would also add to your list, easily top 10 was the Plaza Mariachi. The live shows and food there is wonderful. Oh and you mentioned 5th and Broadway, for us it was the best section of Broadway. We especially enjoyed 12/30 club.

    Hello so I’m going to be visiting Nashville at the end of August for my daughter‘s 21st birthday however she has a 14 year old brother I will be tagging along also lol anyway we’re staying in the grand Hyatt at the end of Broadway and I’m curious if I should be renting a car first time ever in Nashville we are from New York

    • @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany
      @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany  Год назад

      Just depends on where you want to go. If you’ve got several places in mind that you want to see each day, then I would say that renting a car would be just easier than trying to Uber everywhere. But if you’re mostly going to be hanging around Broadway then I wouldn’t worry about it. I hope you have a great time!

    I have lived in both states and. I am from the Midwest .. I will say both states are beautiful .! I will say california is more health conscious when it comes to food and exercise etc we have many choices of stores and restaurants of healthy organic foods for way less
    We don't smoke here in public areas and take it seriously
    The weather is stunning and there is no state that compares
    The fashion for us women is endless and many choices you can't even count
    The beaches are stunning surrounded by mountains
    We can go to big bear and see snow and go to the beach all in one day
    Nashville is plush and has beautiful seasons
    TN is friendly and is way more affordable than California
    Tn is growing and thriving in business
    TN Is charming
    Tn has incredible barbecue and baked beans the home cook in' comfort food is incredible
    I have considered moving back to TN.. I have to be willing to give up the weather here and beaches which is very difficult for me
    I have lived in Cali for years and still I haven't seen everything there is to offer in this state
    There is sooo much to do in California and it's exciting ..but yes the politics has consumed it
    The 1970's was when California was at its prime
    The Beach Boys and all the music and fun
    Everyone wanted to live here
    I have heard Nashville is growing and many new restaurants and businesses
    Which is amazing ..!

    I’m heading out to Nashville on April 25, 2022 to look around at possible places I’d want to live. In the Nashville area of course. Probably want to live on the outskirts of downtown as I own multiple electric vehicles. I.e. bikes, scooters and a Tesla. What are condominium sales like in the area? What’s the best part of town to look for a condominium? Thank you

    • @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany
      @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany  2 года назад +1

      Hey Robert! I would love to help. And there’s several different opportunities/options as far as condos go. It will all just depend on budget and personal preference. Give me a call/text/email and I can give you some more info!

    Is all the Broadway bars 21 only? Taking a teenager with me that loves country music. But scared he won't get to see and hear all the music

    • @livinginnashvilleTNwithTiffany

      During the day they’re not. But most turn to 21 and up in the evening. Usually around 10, but it should say on their websites.
