When you do John Tyler you should mention that he was the only president to be expelled from his own political party while in office and the first president to be brought up on an unsuccessful impeachment attempt (other president being Richard Nixon)
There are some who try to slander him as a maniac but he was not. He was decisive in his approach to matters. He had reason to oppose the Federal banking system as we are finding out today The trail of tears was a dark spot on our history but a necessary evil
Awesome! I used to hate Andrew Jackson, but the more I learn, I the more I begin to like him. He was no means perfect, but I respect him trying to help the common man.
