Tip and Info: If you mine giant spruce trees I did the math that you get around 125 logs per 3 minutes and we divide and 41.6 los per minute and in 1 hour we get 2496 logs. So i'd say its alright for early game. :)
That problem was already solved years ago, there is a much easier, far more efficient tree farm design for survival that has been around for years, i guess RUclips's algorithm buried it and newer player can't find it anymore.

This guys videos are always so simply explained, efficient, straight to the point, easy to follow and not too speedily crafted and each step he shows us with patience and careful instruction. And his farms and exploits are so helpful to all players. I honestly come to JC plays for every minecraft tutorial and he has helped me immensely with his automated fish farm and atuomatic kelp xp farm.
I genuinely don't understand how this farm got them to next level , bruh it'll be much faster to do it with just scaffolding next to where ever you plant the tree
Love it. Built one of those automated tree farms and got less than 1and a half stacks of wood for a whole barrel of bone meal, this gave me 5 stacks of wood ,100 saplings, 2 stacks sticks and 5 apples for 1 stack of bone meal. WAY more efficient and much quicker in the long run. 😃
I just finished building this and I got a ton of logs and I also recommend to all of you building this to get shears and mine down the excess leaves after you have finished mining the logs so it will also become a leaves farm
Very simple and usefull. I make the platforms 3 blocks long and 2 wide. Add glass panes is railing on the second wide blocks. Add glass panes 4 blocks up and hang a lantern. Also replace the blocks leading to the soil with hay bails to significantly reduce fall damage.
3:47 Another way you can check if hopper is properly connected or not by just dropping any item in the hopper and opening it. If the hopper still has the item means it’s not connected properly. If the hopper doesn’t have the item means the item has gone to the chest and it’s perfectly connected
This man has blew up I’ve been here since 50k I haven’t been able to watch recently but for any new people at all. None of his farms miss if your up to date on it. I can garentee 100% this farm works and I haven’t even built it yet
@@xaym3n ya true but having lots of saplings to get more trees for more wood is pretty helpful especially while building that creeper mod farm because I swear with all the trap door and buttons that you need for that farm. You would have to destroy 40 forests just for that farm.
I thought it'll be something like auto plant and auto cutting. This is just like how I farm for my wood, just cutting and replanting. The nice thing about this is the catching of all saplings, sticks, and apples. For me a field of trees is faster and no need of bone mealing. Just cutting and replanting and while doing that, some trees will just grow before you come back. That if you have a huge field of trees on a plain. Unfortunately, I have to go back a few blocks to pick up the drops (stick, apple and saplings) before cutting the next tree.
@@Almighttt I know but silent's latest version use moss block which allows automatic tree ( no need to plant anything ) that's why it's better . Check it if you like . But overall it's far more better than this shit .
@@berserker4773 I'm not really into mechanised auto farming. I like the hard work in doing them mostly manual. Keeps me from boredom. For me, the farm builds are not so aesthetic to look especially because I spawn my base all the time near a village. So I build them about 50 blocks away or in a huge underground. As of now, I've only built the following: XP farm from kelp (which also farms bonemeal), pumpkin and melon, sugarcane, and farms from spawners.

I would love a tutorial on how ro use the keyboard and mouse to control minecraft. All the shortcuts and tricks. By the way (lol) is there any way to walk even slower than crouching/ sneak? On my Nintendo controller I can walk as slow as I want by just nudging the joystick
For people who think this farm is so simple and requires only common sense to built it, remember not everyone has played minecraft as much as you have.
This farm can be really useful for farming large jungle or spruce trees because it allows you to easily access the top so you can quickly mine all the logs.
Spruce works out better for me cause I live right next to a spruce forest and there’s also a skeleton spawner VERY nearby which I can convert to a farm for bonemeal :) And WOW watching this in 2x speed is making me read in 2x speed for some reason

@Finn wintershausen -1366760196 Bedrock Edition it works on 1.19 go forward in the ocean till u find a spruce village at 500 -1300 (not exact coordinates but it’s somewhere around there)

I really love these type of low tech farm that's just to help you alone and not about efficiency or automation. It's especially great for single player since I don't actually need a few thousand logs per hour.
Thank you for the great video. All of yours are, I must say. I need something like this. I for sure don't need one that churns out 1600 blocks and hour. It's so much easier working from the top down. I'm using an axe with enchantments on it and take out all the leaves as well. I get a ton of apples and sticks when I finish the tree and your farm only took a few minutes to build. I used deepslate bricks and it looks great. Thank you again for a more efficient way to do trees.
An enchanted hoe can quickly "mine" the leaves, too. Add efficiency and fortune. Turns some usually net negative sapling drops to a positive - never run out of jungle or acacia saplings again!
This is much better than the automated one I have. For one I don't use as much as bonemeal. I tried replacing the sapling each time with the automated one but I still was going through way to much bonemeal. I'm getting more wood with this. To save more of my time I have a beacon with haste 2 and a netherite axe that makes quick work of this farm. Great build man.

you don't have infinite bone meal in early game
@@rubixube4239 you can make a simple bone meal maker with 2 hoppers 2 chests and one composter. it should be very easy to put them all together

If you don't want to grow large oak trees you simply just have to place a slab in 8th block on top of where you'll be planting the sapling
