    trains are so much better for the environment then cars and busses, they are the environmental solution.

    7-10 million trees were cut down for the project, as of today the current Mexican government (2018-2024) has planted 1,400,000,000 trees. The people that are still complaining about the ecocide are just looking for something to complain about, it's their AMLO derangement syndrome that doesn't allow them to see the amazing things that are being done in Mexico.

    Great video! I always love how calming these videos are.

    The opposition was only for one segment, where the money is, and the lawsuits came from one part of Mexico State, not from the locals. AMLO inform the public of all these events in his daily conference.

      What is he supposed to say? "Yeah honestly a lot of people in the peninsula are opposed but I will still push forward." Stop watching so much "mañaneras" and look for neutral sources.

      @AquiesCoatzingo 3 месяца назад

      @@doingtime20 How about 60% of the votes for the president elect who vowed to continued with AMLOs project. The opposition got 27%. 2 to 1 to continue with the transformation of Mexico, how is that for another source?

    • @doingtime20
      @doingtime20 3 месяца назад

      @@AquiesCoatzingo What does the number of people who voted for him have to do with this? Are you implying that if you are in a majority of people this somehow proves any argument right?

    • @AquiesCoatzingo
      @AquiesCoatzingo 3 месяца назад

      @@doingtime20 Yes, the train was one of AMLOS campaign promises which is now a reality. If the majority of people were against such projects they would not have voted overwhelmingly for a continuation of similar undertakings.

    • @doingtime20
      @doingtime20 3 месяца назад

      @@AquiesCoatzingo Yeah no, it doesn't work like that. People in Mexico as a whole might have voted as a majority, but that doesn't automatically mean that people in a specific zone (parts of Yucatán) didn't oppose to segments of the train.

    No estoy en contra del tren, estoy en contra de la corrupción a su al rededor, termino costando 3 veces más y no será un proyecto económicamente viable en varias décadas, ojala algún día tengamos políticos que no usen las obras para joderse el dinero.

      Los trenes de pasajeros no son viables económicamente en ninguna parte del planeta genio, Japón apenas acaba de conseguir que la línea de Tokio a Osaka sea rentable, casi 100 años después.

      No digas mamadas mery jain. Lo extra que se gastó fue por más infraestructura que se hizo. Hoteles, museos, reinstalación de personas aviadoras, carreteras, parques nacionales, calles y más
