Hey HK Ng, that’s awesome and well worth it. I actually help a guy our who purchased one and he asked my to remove the return hose as he thought his looked slightly different. My return hose was entirely dry, meaning the CC is doing its thing 👌
Hand a few issues with my provent 200 when I received it needed to know a few things & get some photos of the inner workings of the catch Can, Kev took the time to send me emails of pictures and talk me through a few things his a great bloke & I really I appreciate his help 👍
You should test after if the blow by is released cause some catch cans create a positive pressure as well and that affects like if the PCV is blocked not making his intended job
Hi AgentSmith, yes I actually didn't know about the Oil Catch Can and a friend actually told me about it. I did some research and it was a no brainer. Thanks for the comment
Cheers Richard. It was a straight forward process and highly recommended. I was blown away when I helped out a guy on this page and found the return hose to the engine dry and no oil inside the hose. The OCC is doing its job 👌. Thanks for the post.
good day kev, been watching ur videos, setting up my nav as well, just asking, where do u position ur drain hose on the catch can? dont know where is a good spot .
Hey Timmy, no, when you run the hoses, they actually don't touch the engine or hot pipe. When you run the hoses, they actually run around the back of the engine, but they clear the engine
Hi Daniel No I did not. I actually helped someone out in the comments below and removed the exit hose from the Catch Can and surprising the exit hose was bone dry. So the Catch Can was doing its job 👍🏼 Hope this helps
Hi Rj, thanks for your question. Do your research on them. I've seen someone, updating there Intercool on a Nav that only had 18,000klms (and only a 2018 model) and oil had made its way into the Intercooler - this is not good. The Oil Catch Can stops this and catches the excess oil in the filter on the Catch Can and stops it from clogging up your motor. But in the end, it is up to you. Good luck with what you decide, but definitely let me know.
Hi Kelvin. I have never heard of that before. An oil catch can doesn’t have anything to do with you fuel consumption 💁🏼♂️. I know the fuel filter/pump is right next to where you install the Can on a NP300, maybe you have bumped something on the fuel pump. Have a check of it.
@@sphinx5101, I just had a look on their website and can only locate the one I posted and one without the bracket. The one I posted is the dual bracket and that’s there in case you add a fuel filter Manager on the other side. In the end, add the code Less15%, will bring it down to $300. Sorry I couldn’t assist and locate the single bracket, I did search. I don’t have the fuel manager, but if I decide to get one, the bracket is ready to go 👌 Good luck on your decision 🤙 and let me know what you go with

I owned a 2019 Navara ST. Just ordered the Oil Catch Can from Western Filters after watching this video.

Thanks Steven, glad it all worked out for you and happy to help where I can.
Good luck with all your mods on your Nav 👍🏼🤙

Nice place there!
Definitely a necessary upgrade.

You happen to have any rear main seal issues since fitting the catch can?
Neat install👍🇬🇧

Hey, thanks and enjoy, setting up your Nav.
I have the hose running directly down the engine bay and tired to the chassis 👌
thanks @@kevinlaing2273 keep posting those videos, keep us updated. cheers!
Kevin, do they have a kit and mounting hardware for a left-hand drive Navara?
Hi Bob, I would send them a quick email. I’m sure you can just turn the bracket around and the hoses are flexible also.
Is there an actual pipe route you should follow, those pipes will be exposed to heat ?

Hi sir if u dont mind.. What size hose did u use?
Hello
When you order the Catch Can, it comes with all the hoses, clamps and Catch Can
Have you done an EGR block off aswell?
Hi Daniel
No I did not. I actually helped someone out in the comments below and removed the exit hose from the Catch Can and surprising the exit hose was bone dry. So the Catch Can was doing its job 👍🏼

Is this really necessary for a new car? or should I wait a year or so to have this upgrade?
