Starting a youtube/twitch vod with "Im gonna go to the bathroom. Eat these ads" Is gotta be, once again, one of the most poggy moves in the history of youtube.
As a PhD student in economics I can cosign most of what you said here: "If you owe your bank a hundred pounds, you have a problem. But if you owe your bank a million pounds, it has." - John Maynard Keynes Second, for why the debt doesn't matter (much); The US owes debt in US dollars, so it could pay off its debt instantly whenever it wanted. The reason the don't is inflation. Think about owing someone 1 million "NL Dollars" you could never be in true debt trouble because you can create as many NL Dollars as you want. This is why countries with a currency union can have debt issues (the Euro & Greece). Love the content NL, it is good to hear some decent economics too (and some humility when you don't know)
So the amount of money the US owes China is tied directly to the value of the USD and has nothing to do with its value relative to Chinese currency? That's interesting. So it's in the best interests of the U.S.'s creditors for the USD value to be high so that the value of their debt repayments is higher when it comes in?
@@Lemonlord777 Right, the US could pay back any foreign debts instantly because they're in US dollars, but neither the US nor the creditors would want to do that because it would devalue the dollar (inflation). In reality Chinese investors use US Treasury Bills like a safe haven: the only way they don't get their money back (plus some interest) is if the US does not exist anymore (unlike the stock market for instance, which could tank). So in general we should not worry about China/Chinese citizens owning some of our debt, it is mutually beneficial.
the absolute last thing I mean to imply is that I don't like the cat interactions because I do love them, but I wonder if NL's ever considered like, a lockable cat flap for the streaming room? Might save him a headache every now and then 😅

I like the idea of doing more Twitch stuff. I only watch on RUclips, but this year I have enjoyed the Twitch streams uploaded onto RUclips more than your other channel series. As long as you don't leave us hanging in RUclips, land up the Twitch content!
What happened to the slasher's keep series? It's been four days without new uploads. I can't complain bc NL is amazing in terms of the sheer quantity and also quality of all videos. That being said I would hate to see him drop the series bc it was one of my favorites of his recent series'.
Question; if you slice these up from your stream vods, why would you not just slice out the part at the beginning where you're literally not there for 2 and a half minutes and just start after you come back?
Real answer: sorry I'm one year late and everyone else was unhelpful. Twitch has a feature where you can automatically export videos to RUclips, all NL needs to do is give it the correct timestamps. However, this feature doesn't allow for any editing or modification of the video. If NL wanted to cut out those silent parts, he'd have to download the entire video, edit and render it, then re-upload it to youtube. When you consider how many uploads he does per day, it just doesn't make sense to do that when the viewer can just hit the skip button a couple times and it doesn't really effect the viewing experience in the end.

It is impressive how much they improved. Other than graphics, this game is inferior in every other way when compared to dark souls.
