Cyclopian thunder is a bit better mid to late game than cinderspine in terms of knockdown for two reasons - 1 higher knockdown power and 2 lightning damage and the unconscious/dazed debilitation. this combined with pertinacity instead of polarity, no only are you knocking enemies down, but you're also keeping them downed as every lighting strike to the head is that much closer to knocking them unconscious
I truly resonate with this class. I honestly never needed to watch a guide because it all just clicked so fast. Some tips I have is do a heavy jump attack to initiate combat, use your shoulder bash to close the distance and quickly stagger mobs and for mobs, use your skills but don't charge them. Just one quick press of the buttons and release so they come out quickly. They do plenty of damage to mobs. Once you get into it, it truly is easy mode and my god is it satisfying. Also, use mountain breaker to bring a big enemy off balance, then use you're RT when they're stumbling to push their leg and then they fall over. It's so satisfying and you get such a massive window to deal damage. Most of the monsters don't even touch me anymore. They don't get the chance too because they're always staggered and knocked over, it's crazy fun 😂

Hahaha your all good homie! The warrior is my favourite class in the whole game, it fulfills the power fantasy of the warrior so well!
Being able to tank hits, send enemies flying, parry with charge attacks, the fatal back smash animation you get when the enemy is on the ground
Everything just feels so fucking good with this class!
The knock down being so high is just the cherry on the cake haha
Your not wrong man the game is 10x easier when you master warrior, love that it has some diversity unlike some of the other class…

@@AussiesomeTwo That sounds so good but I still want to try Magic Archer and Thief first, and I haven't even unlocked MA yet, 60 hours in lol. This game is insanely massive. I just wish the performance was better. In cities Vernworth, I get below 40 fps in certain areas and other big cities tank it too, though not as bad as Vernworth, and I'm on a 3080/5800X3D PC so that really shouldn't happen. I've gotten used to it and can tolerate it because the game is so much fun and it doesn't really happen during combat, but man, that needs top priority from CapCom
Razing sweep carried me to endgame, insane aoe clearance for trash mobs
It’s such a good move! But for some reason I always went back to spamming mighty sweep haha

Also the mettle augment from fighter is very decent to add in here!

Awesome video -- i do feel that Heavenward and Mountain Breaker have too similar of a role and purpose, i usually dont pick up those 2 at the same time. Your thoughts?
Most of the weapon skills for warrior are more then useable
Feel free to use what ever suits your play style, I just felt like I was getting way more monster knock downs with mountain breaker but heavenward helps warriors not feel as grounded, at least that was my thought process :)
I agree, i only use heavenward cause its more versatile and do good damage/stagger.
Def try to have a pawn that can freeze enemies as well. At lvl 20 something, I was doing 2 health bars+ with Arc of Might
Oh I didn’t think about this at all! Do you do more damage to frozen/chilled enemies?
Either way having them slower makes for easier K.Os
@@AussiesomeTwo I think frozen enemies take double damage. Could be 1.5 I forgot
Razing sweep hits twice. It is a very underestimated skill.

that’s what I’ve been doing, you’ll receive loads more knock down power and it’s not even close to the other armouries haha
Knockdown resistance is off the charts, how the hell is it so high?
The dwarven armoury upgrades on all my armour, massive increase to knockdown resistance and knockdown power for weapons!

Get it in ng+ or just get the thunderhammer

Unfortunately it’s one of the few unique items in dragons dogma 2
So yeah NG+ or the thunder hammer is a good substitute
Also if you’ve finished the game already you should have access to the dragon forge weapons, the great sword in that shop slaps 💪
I might be wrong but I think you can buy back items you sold at the forger guy in the rest town. Maybe not though
