For all the people asking why the elephants are chained? I have been in such places where they keep elephants in the best ways possible such as in this video. A genuine question, I saw all the big elephant are tied up. Is it just for few moments/hours or they do it like a zoo/circus? I hope and would like to believe that it's temporary, they take the shackles off as soon as they are done with lunch. It's an amazing feeling seeing the smile on the face of all of them.
This is a wonderful story. However, I cannot help to see that these very "social" animals are not socializing. Why are they in chains with all those Mahouts around. Seems like there are sufficient individuals that could monitor them in the event there is an issue. The swaying would stop if they were allowed to be social. Just putting it out there.... *social = happy = cooperative!
If they were not chained then maybe they would enter into farms while grazing and I assure you that not all villagers are good like these people instead in this park they are feeded properly you can see their physique they seemed healthy to me unlike those circus elephants plus many people who are followers of 'Lord Ganesh (elephant god in hindu mythology)' gives them food and treat them as some kind of god they even take blessings from them (sounds stupid but that's how our religion works). They also have routine checkups

Why do you chain the poor large elephants. The elephant sanctuaries like the David Sheldrick foundation iAfrica and the one in Thailand do not chain the legs of their elephants. Very very sad to see.
@Heiwajima Shizuo That is a very poor reason. If in Africa the areas are very large than if an elephant goes away it would be even more trouble to locate that elephant. I feel you people are being dishonest and using the elephants for your own benefit and to get money. Please be honest.
@Heiwajima Shizuo dogs are different, because they're domesticated. Elephants are wild animals and no animal should be constantly chained, regardless of type or the part of the world they're from. How would YOU like to be chained up all day, or even just while you eat?

@@jimmylives Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is not in USA, it is in Kenya. Secondly, ancient does not automatically mean correct. I think chaining wild animals can never be justified. Apparently people do not like to eat animals but they don't have any problem with chaining them. Anyways, it is just my personal opinion.
It's just a small space..in bigger parks with strong boundaries they can unchain them...but here it's risky
At 01:35 really broke my heart where the chained svt het was trying to remove his chain it might be hurting him
They must be I'll or something , and needs special treatments that's why there are doctors .
Bro its just that they don't go far away or as you heard she brokes things so the bigger animals are uncontrollable!
Pleeeese take away the chains. Elephants have no dignity with them. How would the humans feel? THINK
The smile of men
Give me goosebumps
Happy to see this type of human still alive.
Why the chain on her hind leg?
Everything is good about it but why are you using chains to shackle them.
The innocence of this caretaker is so precious... God bless him
This is a wonderful story.
Yes, they should probably be allowed more interaction with each other
Every living thing craves freedom. Humans take it away from every creature we can, even our own species.
Can you see the misery of the chained animals? Why are they so cruel to them?
Please.... Stop chains !
Durga is such cute baby elephant that any damn person will fall in love with her. The care taker genuinely cares for her though. Hope they will shower the same love & affection in the years to come. Loads of love & hugs to Durga & all the other elephants. God bless them all
Why do you chain the poor large elephants.
🙏👍👍
Plz Free The Big Elephants... So,They Can Move Anywhere In The Compound.... The Chains Hurt Them Mentally & Physically...
Plz, 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
See the elephants are still in leg chains :(
Carolyn Hitchman brother even a dog has a strap in his neck as he can be controlled , they are the biggest on planet so it's necessary bcz if they turns uncontrolled it's impossible for a human to control
@@aakashbhardwaj7074 dogs do not travel like eles. Eles in captivity suffer horrible foot problems do to limited activity. That ele was frustrated. A frustrated ele is more dangerous. It is not necessary to chain them. It is time for the indian ppl to leave eles in the forest.
myprophet1 look brother if they are providing them walk for 40 kms then there is no problem, like a dog needs daily 2 km running bcz if these animals don't get what's there body demand the they can turn dangerous n their body are more prone to get affected by a disease. N my main point of view is Atleast in a positive video we should not try to see the negative bcz there are lots of in the world but if we turn like no body is good n look at this look at that . Then there is no love left . Watch the video again you will feel love ❤️🙏🌸😇😇
Hinduism is very great and kind for all others..!

thanks for sharing this @gaonconnection @neeleshmisra

I love this man may all human b like him durga u r lucky
I see elephants standing there with chain around their legs . Would that happen to Durga also when she grows up ? What place is this ? What is the purpose of capturing these elephants ?
Decrease in forest cover might be the reason...They have less space to keep those animals..so they are chaining up huge ones as it's risky for these ppl
Lord God bless Durga.✡️✝️🕎❤️🔥💥🗯✨️💭🙏
