How did news travel in medieval times? Where were the paps there at the Battle of Hastings?
Stripped is back-to-basics stand-up from Suzy Eddie Izzard, and is a continuation of her style of comedy, full of "stream-of-conscious banter and predilection for nonsensical detours and frequent tangents." Recorded live at the Lyric Theatre.

No one can just ramble nonsense for 10 minutes straight like Eddie Izzard
moo.
Sean Lock was pretty good
I miss Eddie's stand up!!!
I always thought Eddie should have learned to perform a role in Shakespeare's plays. He is a natural for the comedic parts.
So. Good.
Great stuff. He's so quick
Seems like the audience got lost for a sec. I was cackling and it was just me laughing over him talking.
Aww... I was waiting for "*cough* [tiger]"
moo.
I love you ❤️ Eddie Izzard! When the world looks crazy, I look to comedy. You are so educated, smart & funny. Las Vegas today suffered 5 injuries & 1death on the strip . Showgirls. The perp in custody. Why can’t our street performers be safe? Thanks for the laughs. We would love to see you perform here, should the opportunity arise. Best, D
As Gary would say! Yes Eddie, yes!
i firsr encoutered Eddie 30 years ago in full drag, in a small tent in Glastonbury; might have been the mushrooms kicking in, but he had the whole audience crying as he rambled on for 3 hours of equisite nonsense!! 😛🤩
Yes
The show here is called Stripped, not Unstripped, and you've spelt Comedy wrong
Alcoholism is terrible...y funny
It actually worked
*spelled; "spelt" is a grain
Actually, spelt is a past tense English version to spell, well, spell.
Of course, this is only if you're spelling English almost anywhere else in the world and not in modern American spelling.
It is similar to the spelling of both learned and learnt.
Unless you meant the grain; it would then be spelt 'spelt' all over the English spelling world, including America.
English is fun!
Welcome to the grammar lesson, I suppose. 🤪
Eddie is so clever, but these channels that barley put any effort into reposts are pretty lame
We will never hear the Great Warning sound of the Giant Giraffes😰😭😭
in this clip
According to QI, the very first domesticated animals were snails.
The easiest to catch
Why is the volume so low on this channel? Some of us don't have great speakers. 😒
It is amazing how many of his jokes just went over the audience's head.
Its stream of consciousness comedy
And then fungus.
Action Transvestite & Jazz Chickens
moo.
What year was this out of curiosity?
Yes.
I just replied "moo." on a bunch of comments & I regret nothing.
moo.
Mu?
@@christinae30 Mumu.
@echognomecal6742:
I see you know Swedish!
@@christinae30 lol...I looked it up & it didn't translate to anything, help! What does it mean? What on earth did I say?! lol
@Echognomecal6742:
😄😅 Mu is moo. Usually one uses it like that, like the cows do: mu! Mu! Or if they really mean it: muuuu! (not in any dictionary that one though). But if a cow just wanted to chit-chat (?) it could say mumu, like moomoo.
Try google translate just "mu".
(So I just answered your philosophical comment in my own language😄)
I hate to say it, but the tapestry is an embroidery. Not woven tapestry.
So in my head I’m replacing the weavers with pretty ladies, with long dresses and pointy hats with voiles. And add some: “be careful Henry, no need showing off” and “Don’t go with strange women”. And among each other: “doesn’t he look handsome in that new outfit?”
What happened to the volume, even at max volume it's hard to hear, much lower volume than the other channels I watched
Giraffes do make sounds. They are of too low a frequency for humans to hear.
The punch line never comes.
There aren't any. That's the comedy style.
Why is this channel terrible about double checking before clicking the upload button?
Also the description of the video misgenders Eddie
He's said himself he doesn't mind being called he and him
It's pretty clear he's a man anyway
@@feldgraufox4927 Googling "Eddie Izzard pronouns" and the first results are she prefers she/her and this is from 2020. I do see where she said she doesn't mind he/him. But if you order coca cola and the restaurant has coca cola but they decide to serve you Pepsi? You don't MIND pepsi but you ordered coca cola🤔 it's kinda like that. Eddie has described joy and gender euphoria when referred to by she/her and it costs absolutely nothing to use she/her. I just find it irresponsible to post a video using he/him and opening up Izzard to more misgendering/bigotry.
So we have to check every year to see if he changed his mind again?
@Real Aiglon Eddie prefers she/her now. 🥰
Eddie Izzn't
If you don't like Eddie why can't you just keep your negative comments to yourself, please.
