I'm the only single guy that binged once (about five yrs ago)...and then did it again months later! Loved those strong women. The men came off like dufuses often but I think that was necessary a bit to tighten viewers' focus on the wives...hence the title.
I think I'm the only single male to get hooked on this fine show. I admit it: I just couldn't get enough of the "sisterhood." Within a military context, of course, it really conveys a look at a deep, non-sensational, long-suffering female strength that men (including me) don't fully grasp...or grasp at all), and it succeeds in doing this for years and years. The men were, by design, somewhat shallow in their development and presentation so as to feature the women primarily... and it worked. I was an officer in US Army many years ago and I saw (in this show) all kinds of peripheral issues I wrinkled my nose at but it didn't matter. That part was okay in the end and I accepted it, but the chemistry between Rox and D, Rox and P, CJ and all of them was so good and made for so many good moments, that I'd ignore unlikely things even when I saw it. I just finished binging it on Netflix and have now made it through season 7, ep 3 (the first one that has Rox, Trevor and family GONE). That was weird and I guess I'll see it to the end just because of D and Frank. I think they should've let Emmilyn stay the semester she wanted to at home and take care of pop. That would've been touching given the shock of CJ's departure. As an aside, I hardly recall this show running when it was on - for seven years! But I sure got a dose of it the past 5-6 weeks! besides, I spent 10 memorable years of my youth in Charleston area.
As I watched the show, I always wondered which husband would I want to be with, Michael, Frank or Trevor. They all had elements of being hard with the ability to become soft when needed. But in the end I think Trevor was always going to put the Army first with a lifelong carrier of it. He didn't seem to know what to do with himself if he wasn't in the Army. Michael had a commanding personality, pun intended. He had strong values and bended for the love of his wife. To me Frank is the winner. He had that strong personality too but he changed who he was for the love of his wife. He made his wife the priority over the Army. Such a good show. I miss it.
What was thus get together? Is this while show was going on? Did this air on TV prime time? I wish they'd have had a couple more if these. Who was that super hottie teen who came on, i think, the last season. I cant recall her rekationship but i seem to remember her being at Denise's house.
One of the best shows ever. I watched every single season and episode.

I wish they would bring back army wives that would be amazing
Me too. My girlfriend was a fan way before I was but after watching an episode or 2 with her, I was hooked. Now I have all 7 seasons.
nice memories! gosh i wish they would bring it back!!!
I really love that show. I was in the military so it meant a lot to me
So was I. After watching a few episodes I thought immediately "Whoever wrote/directed this hit it spot on"!. Awesome show
OMG!! 2:40 when terry touches catherine !! Soo cute!!
Frank and Denise are just the best IMO I could watch them forever. I wish Jeremy got a chance with Tonya
I wish he had got a chance with Amanda. She was killed off way too soon.

I hàve only seen one episode of this
The Hunp bar must have been jinxed: an explosion with deaths, fights, power outages, electrical fires,.
where can i find the entire thing?
Hulu
Can they come back for like 3 or four episodes of Tanya and Jeremy if they had gotten married
They did that during a dream sequence of Denise's.
That was only one episode. I need like an entire season

Please bring back Army Wives. Please. Including the fallen stars.
