Hi Julie. I live in Southern California and I just started following you and you have really inspired me to do some projects on things in my house. I think I'll paint my guest room lampshades and add some transfers! You are easy to watch and follow and you have an amazing imagination. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and ideas.
I said to myself this morning. Today Is a "Julie day" I'm feeling uninspired and I have alot of orders to fill. So thank you for your inspiration and positive attitude! ❤😊
Yes, girl‼️ I think you should absolutely should try to remove the dark stain off of the cabinet/hutch in your dining room. The dark stain does not really fit your vibe/style. I think it would be absolutely beautiful stripped 😍😍😍
Julie, I'm diggin' all of your crafts in this vid, though I would avoid using oven cleaner, being it is extremely toxic to the environment and our bodies, (especially lungs and skin, as it breathes). There is a stripper with orange oil as a base, that you could use on your cabinet. You could make it look so much Cooler by keeping the same knobs and distressing it. The utensil pot with the transfer turned out super neat and authentic looking. My faves were the large bird nest and all the spoon projects. ( : Thank You!
Everything turned out super cute! Great eye!!! Only thing I might have saved were the lemon prints you painted over… ohhh… I was hoping you were just going to paint the frames!!! Those were great vintage prints. 😩
Your dark cabinet will be a lot of work, but I think it would be GORGEOUS redone!!! The birds nest was charming, but I can't get over the kitchen utensils!!! SO. DARN. ,CUTE!!!
I definitely think you should remove the stain from the dresser. It will be a big job, but so worth it. I bet it will be stunning 😍. I loved all the projects from today. God bless
Definitely change the dresser, but it looks like it might go orange when you remove the stain so perhaps a whitewash or distressed finish would look great. I love how you make such beautiful things out of other peoples trash !
Omg Julie. Thoes kitchen art pieces! 🤩🤩🤩I adore them!!!! And please let us watch you transform that big hutch you have. I think The oven cleaner method would make that stunning!!!!!!!! Love the set of wood and white risers too. You always inspire me!!!!!
Oh I love all of these pieces Especially the spoons framed and the birds nest one And definitely think you should strip the kitchen unit 😍 Yes a big job but so satisfying and a piece to be passed down
All the thrift makeovers turned out great. ❤ Stripping your hutch would give it an up dated look. That would be a big makeover to tackle. Thanks for sharing your ideas. ❤️
I would definitely remove the stain off the cabinet! I have a very similar one in my home with a matching table. It was my husband’s grandmother’s and I hate to make big changes to it. It was purchased at Sears 😂😂!! I’ll be changing it for sure! I loved the frames that you painted and added the wood spoons. They look amazing!! Hugs from Louisiana ❤
Try the yellow can on one of the drawers of the hutch. If it doesn't give you what you are going for, paint it! I think a color would be fabulous. (Dark green or blue 🤔)
That wood vase is beautiful. Go for it, remove the the stain from your cabinet, but be careful with the easy off fumes and your lungs. You need to burnish the transfer it has transferred to your project with the plastic backer.
Oh my, thank you so much for this idea. I have vintage ice cream scoops that were in our family for years and now I know how to hang them! You’re the best!
Some are saying dark wood is making a come back this year. I love your cabinet the way it is. I don’t know how many cans you would need to remove all the dark. ? Eeeeekk. I bet it would take a lot of time and energy too !

Love, love, love the kitchen art. I have many measuring spoons like that. At least 5-6 sets. Use daily. Could give that a try. Also several of the larger, older spoon and fork bamboo utensils. Those were my ultimate favorite pieces!!
I definitely think lightening the cabinet would be beautiful! My favorite pieces in today’s video are the frames you painted and added the wooden utensils/measuring spoons and the three wood pieces you added floral to
