It can go from light, to extreme. for example, timmie has less birds coming towards him cause he has less bread crumbs than lucy who has more bread crumbs with her. And a harsher example? there is a small unknown problem going on in the town, the women and children are told to go inside the shelter, while the men has to go out to fight and think to solve the problem, ofc the women and children can help but thats not usually the case, a way harsher example? society. presidents and citizens, royals and mere peasants, scholars and kids who don't have enough money to get education. CEO's and their underpaid and overworked workers. Etc etc the list goes on and on for as long ever.

What I think of when I hear this song:
Edit: First and foremost, *EVANGELION* This entire song can describe basically any character from evangelion's situation, I could fr write a whole essay on this lmaoo
1. The whole hero society and how it screwed everyone over based on quirks (ex. Dabi, Hawks, Toga, Shigaraki I can go on).
2. Ryo and Akira from Devilman Crybaby
3. All of the kids to Mama in the Promised Neverland 😞
4. Kageyama to Oikawa (looking back at their middle school dynamic- mostly for the chorus)
5. Naruto to Sasuke (mostly just the chorus applies)
Post script: I wanna mention how in one of the newer chapters, Toga tries to explain the way the hero system is messed up, and thinks that Uraraka will agree, but she doesn't listen. Later on when Toga runs away, Ochaco looks back and notes that she was crying. I feel like it'd be interesting if she was able to understand Toga's perspective, considering her first reason to become a hero was for the money, and that goes to show how some people really look at the job (and yes, I know she now changed her reasons because she wants to save as many people since she couldn't save NightEye, and the money is to help her family). In the future, Ochaco could try to take Toga's opinion into account, and change the way the hero industry works (she obviously wouldn't do it on her own, but yeah I'd like to see her take a part in that).

SPOILERS; The Promised Neverland, Danganronpa(1,2), Haikyuu, and Bnha
Mikan and Junko:
•Mikan was clearly obsessed with Junko because of brainwashing of some sort, and all she ever wanted was for Junko to love her back. The fact Junko chose such a broken and fragile girl to do this to shows how twisted she truly is. Junko forced Mikan to spread despair with her, and once Mikan was finally free she felt betrayed by the one she once loved.
Junko and Mukuro:
•Mukuro loved her sister. Whether it was romantic or not she cared for her sister dearly and it's clear she did. She helped her sister bring down humanity and to only be betrayed by her sister to feel despair. She wanted to help her sister and spread the despair with her however it only ended up with her heart being shattered.
Hawks and Endeavour:
•As we know, Hawks grew up in an abusive household and overall wasn't happy or healthy. He was in need of a savior and there Enji was. There to save him. He looked to him his whole life because he saved him from drowning in his horrible past. When Hawks realizes Enji abused his entire family, I can imagine him breaking. His idol became the thing he hated most.
Oikawa and Kageyama:
•This isn't a ship dynamic but however, Kageyama looked up to Oikawa when they were younger. He thought he was amazing and was Oikawa's "student". When Oikawa was having a breakdown he went to hit Kageyama, however Iwazumi stopped him. Tobio probably felt really betrayed and hurt because his idol, someone he looked up to wanted to hurt him, however on Oikawa's side he was afraid he'd be discarded and also looked up at Kageyama as someone who was better than him and envied him.
Bakugou and Izuku:
•Izuku looked up to Katsuki his whole life as a hero and friend. He thought Katsuki was someone to admire and look up to for his bravery and strength however, Katsuki didn't need the praise and ended up tormenting the boy his entire life. All Deku wanted was to be friends, and be able to bound with the friend he looked up to so much.
Kazuichi and Sonia:
•All Souda wanted was validation from Sonia since his entire life he was told he was useless, and being told he was important by someone he thought was beautiful or even royalty would make him feel like less of an embarrassment to his family. While he could've handled it better, Sonia shouldn't have been so harsh and compelty disregard his feelings and atleast listen to what he had to say.
Emma and Isabella:
•It's cannon Emma wanted to be a mom and be able to love her children as much as Isabella and overall loved her and her home. To find out their mother wad a horrible person she felt betrayed because Emma truly loved everyone. Those tests, feeding them, watching them, it was all their plan to ship them out to only be consumed. She felt abused like in the song clearly states. To be raised your whole life by a loving mom and loving siblings to only be betrayed at the end as your life flashes before your eyes.

I feel like this is what Isabella thought when they saw the kids (Emma and ray) escape. She loved the kids, she really did, she sang her lullaby to hide her sadness when she was sad, for example, when Conny was being shipped out, Isabella was singing it. Isabella wanted to escape when she was little, but she couldn't, she was jealous seeing the kids escape, they did something she couldn't. :P
