- The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Mage OTK combo deck is to use The Galactic Projection Orb combined with Grey Sage Parrot! We do this by playing Coin, Arcane Missiles, Ignite, Ice Block, and Potion of Illusion throughout the game. Then, we play infinite copies of Grey Sage Parrot for the OTK! Super fun meme deck! My exact thoughts
Sudderwock mage are the decks that would infinitely cast Open The Waygate to get unlimited turns. Either with the bird or with now the 9 cost guy

with the coin and a 5 mana board clear, like blast wave or dragons fury, you can turn this into an infinite damage otk.
Since the orb always casts spells in ascending order every parrot generates a mana and another 1 mana parrot and clears itself from the board.
yes and no because you would need to complate mage quest first random spells can ruin combo or take up slot for example not guaranteed Ice block or simple you needed to play 5 mana spell(generated ) to finish quest witch ruins the idea the only way would be to have minions that draws all card and play flameflare(the 2 mana that keep shuffling card with plus +1 dmg [2+1n]) to complete the quest since they do not start from your deck because they have diffrent discption (+1dmg) but than you spend so much more effort mana and time😮

Blast wave wouldn't work cuz its overkill would flood your hand with filler cards. Dragon's fury would work but you gotta make sure there's a spell left over in the deck.

Considering how many times you recasted the orb, putting a lightshow in there would yeild great results.
Did they fixed the thing about it not adding up if not cast by yourself?
@@p.a.r.c1694 They did, its a shame that Rommath rotated, with the fix it consistently dealt over 30 damage.

1 mana - Devolving Missiles
2 mana - Flamecannon
3 mana - Solid Alibi
4 mana - Potion of Illusion
5 mana - Deck of Wonders
6 mana - Disco at the End of Time
7 mana - ???? (Maybe Flamestrike because Arcane Missiles/Mask might kill your opponent too fast)
8 mana - Yogg in the Box
9 mana - Rune of the Archmage
10 mana - Puzzle Box
Play The Galactic Projection Orb
Then play infinite Rommath/Parrot

Can't go above 6 mana cost or else the bird might cast the wrong thing and screw up the whole combo
@@TheGmodkillaBird casts the LAST spell you cast that cost 6 or more...
So as long as you're not a dummy and play 6+ mana spells after Orb you're fine.
That first paladin made me miss Clown decks. What a fun card Carnival Clown was!
Also, surprised he went with Ignite instead of Frostbolt for 2 mana damage.
It's to anti-fatigue
Ignite refills your deck so you can’t die from fatigue. Not that it really mattered.
@@swampdonk3y712 yeah, it didn't seem he would be too worried about fatigue, but I guess better safe than sorry if your only defense is Ice Block
Tried this deck out and had some issues. Mainly that i couldn't always get all the pieces for the combo. So for the lack of card draw i switched out the 2 amalgam of the deep and one dragon caster for 2 coldlight oracle and 1 prize vendor for extra card draw. i didnt think u got much value from amalgam and the dragoncaster was very situational and wasnt very often u got the combo before 10 mana. my win rate got up significantly and i think i hav 80-90% win for now
Isn't the correct "toxic" play to never do dmg, but spam Ice Block , and let enemy die to Fatigue ?

played a game with this deck yesterday against druid that took 2 hours to win. He had a card that got put back in his deck as deathrattle and all his card where buffed like 90/90
Blizzard will nerf parrot to cast a spell that costs exactly 6 mana and doesn't have the color blue
Definitely killable if enemy is running something like horsemen, mecha'thun, 4 horsemen paladin, quest priest, etc... or with Mark's luck secret eater
You should do a combo where your only 5 mana spell is Time Warp. Then use this same setup to play the deck that was already banned for a good reason.
This is why i quit this game, picked it back up, then requit.
I wonder if you could use orb to recast time warp with parrot, basically bringing the old combo back

Someone played this against me and I can’t remember how I survived, I discovered the hunter ice trap secret and bounced the 8 mana spell twice and I think the lifesteal hounds just gave me enough healing to survive the face damage a couple of times to wear him down
Can’t remember if/how I stopped the parrot though.
Generally speaking, objection, counterspell & sensei hard counter this deck so be careful
you could definitely refine this list more but yeah that's pretty toxic

would like the point out there's a tiny chance this combo backfires with ignite going face on the final orb cast IF the enemy hero dies from Arcane Missiles and there is nothing else on the opponent's board!

The only limitation is a lack of board space. Don't really know how to solve this except for putting a Rolling Fireball in place of Star Power.
you can just ping away a parrot and replay. you can't die because of ice block and fatigue is prevented with ignite

@@bobbob3057You're right. The cases where not doing enough damage would result in you doing are fringe. Have to be a combo deck with both armor gain and secret hate/Zephrys - only Reno Druid can pull that off.

I encountered this deck for the first time a few days ago, but I won with my Time Warp mage deck. It's certainly creative, but I don't think it's the most toxic deck ever made. I've seen worse.
I played against this, so toxic lol. Been running a budget version of this deck with frostbolt instead and tutor cards like novice gnome, loot hoarder, and it's not bad. Meme'd a ress priest and that match went for like 1 hour lol

The only fun thing about decks like this is the construction of them. Piloting them is so boring

Watching the first match was all we needed to see why the player base is dropping on Hs. People don’t want things like this. It isn’t fun. Creative. Nothing. Hopefully this video makes it to the devs and they do something about this kind of play.
I don't think the existence of combo decks in wild has anything to do with the player numbers in standard. Almost no one plays wild.

Playing potion of illusion and getting nothing and still winning should be an acheivement
Isn't it faster with a frostbolt instead of ignite for the 2-cost spell to deal 3 damage instead of 2? The shuffled ignites didn't matter, they even make the animations go slower because of the shuffle.

Good, it helps to ban this questmage-shit faster. I dont get why they have to print cards like 9 mana - play with your own dude and now this card to support the questreward.. most toxic deck out there. But milldruid nerf and let this alive. Ok. Same with Antonidas etc.
