Urusei Yatsura was actually released in the late 70s. All of their original openings have 80s music. Monotone no Natsu(Monotone Summer) is the best one.
Lmaoo tried to figure out what he will like and not like is a gamble that’s why I played so many songs but it seems like the rock songs don’t do it for him
The thing here is that he the guy with the 'bad take' is giving the songs ranks base on how unique they are or how generic they are. BUT being generic doesn't mean it's bad, I guess he just prefer songs that do something different. In my point of view, I think a good generic song with good visual can also defeat a unique song with good visuals, just like Bleach's latest OP beating Chainsaw Man for me.

If you don't like it then you don't like it, if your reason that you don't like it is that it's too simple and it's too generic then no one can change that unless you listened to it more or have more context about the song/anime. I don't like strawberry even though everyone tell me It's super good and that I'm weird because of it. But, I still don't like it. I guess it's something like that.
Just like what others in the comments say I also think you have 'bad takes' but I also have to remember that this is coming from a non-weeb who enjoys other genres more than jpop/jrock. Not liking something doesn't mean not appreciating it which I can tell you do for these songs. TLDR; this is a fun vid to watch. At least it's not those recent anime opening reaction vids that either doesn't react or say anything at all or they just keep complimenting the video and songs with the same words over and over again even if the song is clearly not that good.

Yea i think thats the lens a lot of people have to look at it from. a lot of it is j-rock and can't fault someone for a genre not clicking for them the same way country don't click for some people

It's kinda tough for me to admit that a huge amount of how much I love the Tokyo Ghoul OPs now is because of how much I enjoyed the show, so no hate to you for the ranking lol. It really is a great, albeit very gore-y, show; though unfortunately if you didn't like Unravel, I don't think you'd like any of its other openings. Maaaaaaybe OP3: Asphyxia by Cö shu Nie, if any of them. It's the most different of the bunch.
On a different topic, if you liked Demon Slayer's animation quality, there's another show people often praise for having some top notch animations, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. You should check out that OP, Brave Shine by Aimer. Pretty famous song, and it's sung by the same person as Zankyou Sanka, the Demon Slayer OP you ranked S.

The thing about JoJo Openings. They are nice songs. They are all full of hidden meanings. The SFX/Alt versions are at the last episode(s) showing you what’s really going on or how the current final fight is impacting on the story via the opening.
Even with the SFX ones you listen to you only see them for 1-2 episodes depending and prior you have the same opening but without those changes. So it’s pay off is kinda lost if you never appreciated the OP prior

I would like to note that I disagree with the notion that the music for Kaguya-sama Love is war don't fit the vibe of the animation. It's a silly song for silly visuals! It fits perfectly!

So I seen you were asking why aren't some intros and stuff so much more better when it's clear they get money for some good animation.
Alot of openings and endings for anime aren't always actually done by the main animation studios. Usually these are outsourced to other studios that generally handle the production of the openings and endings and in all cases of animation usually there's another studio some stuff may assist with that could cause visual differences as they try to copy the main studios style.
Alot of these songs used to unlike most western shows have their songs specifically written for their shows and sung by professional artists. So it costs them more too as they are essentially paying for the production of a brand new song each time.

Heads up, the artist for Blue Lock didn't create the Japanese national team's jersey. It's an Adidas original. Adidas Japan collaborated with both Giant Killing and Blue Lock (Actually, they collaborated with Kodansha, the two manga's parent publisher) for a sneak reveal of the national team jersey. They had a whole social media + magazine marketing. The design was first shown off on Twitter in black and white then shown off, in color, in their respective magazine's weekly issue. They officially showed the full jersey days later. I don't know where the lie that the Blue Lock artist made the design, I keep hearing it and it's full cap.

アメリカ版のデジモンはOPだけではなくBGMもほとんど改変されています。そのせいで本来は痛みを伴う成長の話が、能天気な雰囲気になってしまいました。最終回のエピソードを見比べれば、その差を実感できます。

1:02:11 I just have to say that the kaguya sama isn't finished just in case you didn't know, there is movie that came out in april (it's the next arc) and after the movie there still enough content for like 2-3 more seasons.
