As always, a nice tear down video!!!!! I was curious about the motor power in amps for this machine, so I made a research of the power my own machines have and found the following. Singer 9960=0,46 A, Bernina Deco 600 0.8 A, Bernina Artista 200/630/640/730 = 1.2 A, Bernina B830 LE 1.6 A, Juki HZL F300= 0.9A DX-7/QVP2000= 1.1 A, and my Bernina B880 2.1 A.
Call me crazy, but I find this, impressive and so entertaining. A bit disappointed to hear that nowadays these machines are kinda disposable though. But hey, it is what it is. I really enjoyed the video . Great job! Thanks!
Great vid! I have an early-mid 90's Toyota EC1 series 2466. It is literally built like a tank, metal (aluminium) through and through. Even most of the the gears and the cam-stack are either made of metal or a hard resin like material.
This video is excellent The explanation was great The upper stitch on my JUKI machine is slack I tried the tension but was not helpful. What do u think could be the possible cause n how can I fix it Thank you
Ended up here trying to figure out what’s going on with my out-of-the box machine... it’s like some of the belts or gears are missing, the machine whirrs when I press the pedal but nothing happens, sewing or bobbin winding. Kinda hard to know without taking it apart, clearly, so we’ll see what Juki says 🙃 thanks for sharing such a clear look at the machine!
Hey there! That was a great review. I have to admit, breaking down the machine was scary. I have the exact same one and the reverse stitch lever doesn't move. Seems like something is stuck inside. How could I fix that?
HZL-353 something about Juki? .. another question which singer do you recommend? or which 200 pound machine do you recommend for someone who is really into sewing? and wants to do everything.
I have a juki flora 550 an old portable sewing machine and I encounter a problem with the electrical switches. The main power switch knob is working, however, the on/off operating knob, when you press it down the machine runs and when you press it again to stop the operation it does not go off. All the three speed knobs switches are working properly. I do not know the problem and searching also for the schematic diagram for this machine I can not find it in the internet. I hope you could help me. Thanks a lot.
Hi, I recently got one of this and now I have issues with the upper thread tension. Could you help me to fix it? Apparently, the wheel that adjust the tension don't make any adjustment.
I have this model exactly but i have problem now with this machine...the machine runs slow ...n have problem on tension thread...n when i stitched the zig zag the thread is broken n the hand wheel are hard too,any suggestion You have..!! Im really appreciates if u suggest me Sir.
I just unboxed brand new Hzl 27z and have issues. It will only stitch in reverse. And horrible loud thumping/clunking noise. Any ideas? I am experienced sewer. I have cleaned, oiled, although neither of these things should need to be done. It is a new machine for peteys sake. I have NOT replaced the needle, but again, this should not be necessary and shouldn’t have anything to do with the machine stuck in reverse.
I was really surprised to come across such a detailed breakdown. Now I want to see what all your other videos are like. Great stuff.
My 8 year old grandson an I love watching you. He gets so excited.

I just ordered one of these so I can do my fashion design homework!!!
How is it? Is it doing good?
So very interesting. Always wondered about the newer machines that you can't easily oil or clean. Makes me less likely to buy an electronic machine.
The review I never knew I needed! Thank you for this in-depth review. Super cool!! T_T

I bought this. It's really good...
Can you do a review on the juki dx7 PLEASE???
Awesome video as always. Thanks
There is a service manual for this machine. Both service & instructional manuals are on the same webpage. Just google it.

Great explanation and nice tear down. Keep up your work. I really appreciate your work though.

For a new machine I recommend returning it or getting a refund. It sounds like something went wrong when they assembled it.
That machine is 200.00? just purchased the Haruka 18 for 1,000. I love it tho, couldn’t return it.
Se podría en español?
How can I oil the machine?Where?sorry for my english...hope u understand..thank you..
