@zachsabbath1 they changed nothing 2 of those guys didn't even play in the NBA never won anything Jimmy king is so overrated and ray Jackson it's ridiculous
I was a Lakers fan back in the day and man Sacramento used to give them boys the business lol. If it wasn't for the cheating everyone knows the Kings were supposed to win that series. It was special to watch. Rough basketball. Miss those days.
Growing up in Detroit was truly a blessing as a ‘73 baby. I so much enjoy seeing a lot of my friends and family doing well and especially, seeing the growth of Chris which is a testament of his great parents. So incredibly proud of Chris and still rooting for him.
@@esp4372you are talking in code..like using the word thug to describe non white athletes..... Say what you really want to say. Or you can say, the value of being raised by good parents. Jeffery Dahmer was raised by both parents.... Right?
Great interview… amazing family cultivated a strong, stable, successful story. Giving God and your parents their rightful place in your life creates the necessary balance to guide us thru the rollercoaster
I borrowed a friends Chris Webber Jersey for school pictures. I was at an Usher concert and when Webber was still at Michigan. Usher came out in Webber jersey with the name on the back. All anyone was talking about after that was how much they wanted that jersey.
Awesome interview. Grew up a die hard Illini fan, but for those two yrs CWebb was at Michigan I didn't miss a single Wolverine game. Made sure every time they came to Champaign I was in the house. Followed him his entire NBA career, 2nd favorite player all time after MJ. Excited about reading the book. Good stuff Dan.
Chris Webber should've won the 1993 NCAA title against UNC. Could've won the 2002 finals against Nets and a Finals MVP. Had an opportunity to be a 12x All Star ⭐. 10x All NBA if he stayed healthy. Missed out on 20,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 5,000 assists. Always a what if
People act like it's not a coaching error...if the coaches did their job and adamantly informed every player on the court then there would be no incident.
I used to love Chris Webber (grew up in Michigan) and it's obvious he had good parents but to hear these guys talk about the NIL like it's something good for college basketball reminds you of how dumb they actually are.
I never understood why trying to call a time out when your team does not have any remaining is a foul. Shouldn’t the refs just ignore the player and shrug their shoulders and advise to keep playing?
This was such a great conversation. So glad to see C-Webb is doing well
This sounds like writing this book was a cathartic experience for CW. I'll read it. He's got a valuable perspective.
Man im so happy C Webb and J Rose back tight! ✊🏿💯
Great interview the FAB 5 and that era of basketball was simply the best for me and my generation in my opinion good times very good times.
Fan 5 never won anything
@@Alphasports576 we all know they never won a championship. But he was saying BASKETBALL was good

C. Webb was my hero growing up!
This guy is awesome, real and authentic….lots of wisdom and a pretty good basketball player
Pretty good?
🎯NO QUESTION the *FAB FIVE* had an INCREDIBLE/ENORMOUS/COLOSSAL influence on 🏀 & the culture then & now🧏🏾♂️❗️I was/am a DUKIE & I LOOOOVED ‘em‼️🙌🏾
I’ll get the book- this was my brothers favorite player… dude could pass.
Great interview. I learned a lot about C.Webb I didn’t know beforehand.

‘85 baby here, Fab 5 was my childhood

He was raised by that booster/bookie that gave him the $200K too.
Great interview… amazing family cultivated a strong, stable, successful story. Giving God and your parents their rightful place in your life creates the necessary balance to guide us thru the rollercoaster
Great interview. Always loved C Webb.
One of my favorite players of all time, still remember my mom got me the purple Kings jersey for my bday. Felt like I was the man fr lol

Fab Five were a beautiful team to watch. Underline team. They were not just flash. If you know, you know.
C-Webb, Vince, and Nash were my favorite players
Great interview. I’ll def pick up the book..
DP you are the best
Great conversation.. some of the things Angel Reese was talking about with the Me Against the World 🌎
The greatest 4 man ever
i wouldn't go that far, but i feel like he was the most talented. too bad knee injury ruined him.
Solid dude

Solid!!!
The Fab 5 was unreal. Trendsetters for sure with the baggy shorts and black socks. Crazy they didnt win at least 1 Chip.
Excellent interview
Top 10 PF OF ALL-TIME I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS.💯
Just rewatched the 30 for 30 😢
Good for him!
I don’t get the Us vs the World part? Everyone loved the Fab 5, we all wanted them to beat Duke.
There was definite push-back against them at the time.
Either ALL the Fab 5, or Jalen and Chris should do a no holds barred podcast or RUclips show together. It would be great
Is the Statute of Limitations up?

He walked before the timeout.
Sure did
I listen to Fab 5 playing Michigan State and the fans at Breslin arena chanting N- word N-word during the game so racism was bad then and even now.
Evolution
Axle Foley...also a Mumford Alum....
FAB 5 was far and away more popular and we all hated Duke! I don't agree it was them against the world at all.
Go Tar Heels!
c webb was on of the best power forward in the 2000’s but that time out is the most dumb play a star player could’ve done
It was just a simple miscommunication. Jalen should've ran him down and demanded the ball back
He did. Chris took off

Wait…. Did he say 15 dunks in a game in the sixth grade?????
A lot of athletes are not good communicators. Not this guy. The book should be a good read
Speaking (mostly) wisdom here, disagree with a lot of the NIL stuff. Good Luck C WEB.
c webb got too much hate at the end of his tnt broadcasting career and if u think webb was bad try listening to bob myers
He maybe threw it...first with the travel then the timeout
Man nobody wanna hear them old heads still
Did it teach him that he wasnt at college for academics at all? That he was destined to be an adult baby ball bouncer for life?
Biggest talent to never win ANYTHING! Not 1 title, doesn’t define him, but so much ceiling, to end up EMPTY
His basketball career was better than mine. That Kat’s not empty.
This guy doesn’t age 😂
