My condo I’m staying at is about 40 minutes away. It’s not too far off the Chong Nonsi BTS station. About a 25 minute walk or quick bike ride. They do offer delivery if you order more than 1000 baht worth I believe.
Makro has a new competitor now: Go Wholesale, worth a visit. Tops Club was supposed to be the Thai Costco but refused to undercut prices with their other retail formats, so failed. Go Wholesale is a re-try, but this time copies Makro closely. It has some different inventory, plus has the roasted chicken loss-leader like Costco. Competition is good.

Yes over here a lot of the bigger supermarkets, that's how they are left out and you pick your own. All refrigerated so it's still good
