Bought my '79 TA with 403 in it in 1986. The guy called me next day wanting to buy it back and offered me more money than I paid him for it. Felt bad to say no but almost 34 years later, it still looks and runs as STRONG as it ever did.

These and Camaros of the same era were beautiful cars as well as great handling. I think it was just the fact there were so many around that they weren’t that appreciated until recent years. So many cut up for race cars. Wish I had my 80 Z28.

I like the vintage air set up. Dash controls look factory and doesn't clutter up engine bay like factory a/c. Looks like the whole heater/a-c set up from them, which is quite expensive ~$1500+

The Pontiac 400 was not a big block. Pontiac did not use the small and big block designation for their V8 engines. The 400 is a "large displacement" V8, but it is not a big block.

79 did not come with a 455 which in the 76 cars was denoted as the 7.4 liter
This car is badged on the shaker as a "TA 6.6" which indicates a pontiac 400 motor which was always paired with the manual transmission. The cars with "6.6 Liter" on the shaker all came with the oldsmobile 403 motor and turbo 350 automatic transmissions.
So in short this car is not original or not stickered propery.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by
reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated
central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down
all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From
2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as
exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox
oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no
investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even
created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.
