Yeah, Cass has its own way of playing drums, and he is very, very tight with rhythms. He has been playing for 30 years already, and what can we expect, The rest was great
The way Cazz plays drums is very unique. Very hard to play to. I tried playing Sumerian Fairytale but it's like trying to catchy a slippery object. It reminds me of when I get bored with a basic rock song and fill it with a billion fills every beat. So instead of playing to the drums, I play to the guitar, which essentially is what Cazz has done but it sounds so good!
I feel bummed they're playing a show and it's too far for me to attend. Now I feel like they're promoting Judaism and Mallcore just cause I don't have the funds to attend.
@@DeanH92 Yup. Apparently GBK has once performed in Apocalyptic Rites -fest too, here in Finland. I was suprises to hear about it and wondered if this was from there. Apparently not then, haven't seen any footage of that performance. The fest is less known, especially outside of Finland, but it's basically NSBM (or whatever you want to call it) fest in the middle of nowhere rural Finland.
@@hrrdrr8428 I have been in three GBK shows in Finland (2006 Turku, 2010 Hammer Open Air and 2016 "secret" venue) and that Apocalyptic Rites fest was not one of them.

gelal has said before he thinks wearing corpse paint is for homosexuals. although very early live footage of GBK shows him and the rest of the band wearing corpse paint
I remember this show at the multicultural festival at Jerusalem
I'll never forget when Demonic did a stage dive off of the wailing wall. Wild times.

That riff might have to be one of my most favourite in black metal ever
Hail
It's amazing.
Thank you GBK for showing me that it is 100% okay to wear Kappa while playing black metal live.
Didn’t you know? Wearing Kappa increases your guitar skills tenfold!
You mean Racing Club de Avellaneda jersey? Kappa is the sponsor of this argentinan football team
@Tarantula Tattoo I'm gonna straight out just go Ali G on stage next time
o cara é muito underground, não precisa manter um estereótipo... foda-se quem pensa que ele deve manter a "estética metal negro"...
@@rafaelacranista830probably the only guy to pull it off and still be praised, fuckin sikunt!
The drummer messed up but it still sounds great. That speaks on how good their music is.
GBK and Crucifier are playing live at Apocalyptic Rites this year
I really don't want to drop a few thousand to see GBK for 35 minutes, but I'm going to have to do it.
@@MrUnderhilll Take one for the team and record the whole damn thing. And don’t forget to interview Gelal
Where can I find more info on this?
Heavily hinted that GBK will play in El Paso in October as well at Forged in Defiance.
@jakerobert3118 nice. That would be an easier trip on my wallet vs flying to Finland.
Drummer messing up the fill at @0:48, going out of sync with the beat, and he gets dirty looks by the bassist and Gelal !
No wonder Gelal looks depressed all the time.
@@DeanH92 Cazz "Black Lourde" Grant needs to be back on this band too - he is an amazing drummer!!!

Really not liking the new vocalist..he looks stupid on stage and has no prescence

This isn't Cradle of Filth. This is white power metal and you can rock it Roman style if ya like.

Anyone know who's on drums for this?
Sloppy as the studio recording, completely out of beat for the first part and I can feel how PISSED those guitarists were 😅 0:49
Probably Ulfhedinn, who is also the vocalist for Arghoslent.
Ok...I believe he's also the drummer on Hornets of the Pogrom but I could be wrong@@osamabloom6884

this is a drummer?
Has Gelal ever actually performed the leads or solos in any of their songs live before?
Based on the rare live footage we have, I would say not likely :(
He played the solo for Shemhamforash in the one from the 90s with Lord Fag on vox/drums
Where is this? Finland?
Hammer Open Air Finland. One of the two European countries that allow these shows. The other being Italy.
