This was so helpful. I’m a mom with two curly haired mixed race children. Their hair is almost identical to your clients. I truly appreciate this tutorial, I’ve got braiding and parting (sectioning) down, next is twists for my son. He’s been begging me to learn. Thanks again!!!

What is that foam thing you use at the end and what does it do?

It’s called hair mousse and it basically helps with frizz/fly always and seals the hairstyle you can find it at any beauty supply store

This is a great technique-my son says this was the best twists on him. You mentioned there would be a link to the parting guide in the description but I did not see it. How can
I get a copy of your parting guide book? Thank you!

Looks great! After adding mousse, did you blow dry until dry or until the mousse was no longer visible?

Thank you love, sometimes I blow dry it, or I spray it with hair spray.

Any idea how you can do these on similar hair texture without rubberbands? I just don’t like the look and the stiffness that the rubberbands add to hairstyles I do on my son.
