Sometimes the hot water will actually cause certain braids of pre-stretched hair to unravel. You can’t dip the prestretched hair that was used in the video. It will unravel
Thank you i have 3b 3c hair and its down to my mid back and wanted to do this style with my natural hair and just wasn't sure how to keep a piece of my hair loose while i twist since twisting my hair is more gentler and easier then braiding for my curls and it seems to lock in better for me in my opinion

If you normally get your hair braided then I don’t see why your stylist would deem your hair unfit for this style. They probably don’t know how to do it. She starts out with a box braid… if your hair can support a box braid, I’m sure this style wouldn’t hurt anything.

@@StacyHolder-r3h hii , if you braid the root before you start the twist you should be able to achieve the style . you shouldn’t have to twist the braiding hair into your natural hair . what is your hair type ?
@@queencece7636 if they come undone, then they are not twisted correctly. You have to twist one direction and place it the other direction. Twist on twist. Not sure if that makes sense. Also, you usually can’t dip prestretched hair or it will unravel

Did you cut the little fly away pieces from the blunt ends of the bundle hair after it was added to the twists?
No they stayed hidden pretty good.

I seen 6 packs of braiding hair and 2 bundles of human hair but she said to get more human hair bundles if you want it fuller

Stylist may think it's too much work. I am watching this to do it myself on my hair. A lot of steps involved but end result is fire.
