It looks like she’s using mid back maybe like 42” but I would recommend using 52” pre stretch braiding hair so you don’t gotta keep adding braiding hair within

It’s not clear how you tie the human hair with the braiding hair. Do you braid the human hair into the braiding hair?
Look up videos on how to do a knotless braid and that should help you braid it in
