Many people don't realize how good this is. I mean, if you have seen many live shows at all, you will find out that most artists and bands cannot sing live or play music that sounds as much like the record as is possible like Leppard does. They put the work in. Enjoy this while it lasts guys!
Especially for this band. This is COMPLEX layered music. There’s 8+ guitar parts on the recording. The she’s to compromise and simulate it with 2 guitars and still there’s no lead and rhythm per se.. it’s just melodic overlaying parts. Plus the multi part harmony they need to sing.
Seeing Rick still playing after he lost an arm is cool and all, but it's also limited the band from doing any music that doesn't fit in with what Rick's capable of.

I first saw these guys in Germany in the late 80’s, seen them again after that and my wife and I will be in Atlanta to see them this Saturday night. One of my favorite all time bands!
Why, oh why did they feel the need to butcher the end of this song ? Hysteria is perfect in its standard form and how it's been played live since 1987 up until they added the Bowie Heroes ending a few years ago. From a big Leppard fan for decades.
I would request that Phil take it easy on the sustainer. Some of that makes his guitar whine too much and seems off, or out of place, for the song. All that said, Phil is still my favorite lead guitarist of all time.
