    already opened different account at different bank. i will not be dealing with them ever again. taking our money out if we can ever have visibility again......starting to lose hope. if you cant tell me my balance then you do not know it

      I understand. Not being able to see your bank account balance is unsettling, but it's even more so when your bank can't tell you what it is.

    Lack of communication! Been three days without communication! I will pull every single penny from this bank and so will 100% of my friends who have accounts there. They don't care about us! They have not updated us for over 3 days!! Is it even legal to not allow someone to pull their money out ?

    Unfortunately, Patelco did not do a good job of informing their members. Daily communication should have been priority #1

      To be fair, Patelco has already stated they will write letters to creditors and pay any late fees encrued bc of this.
      But ya the unknown is what gleans the fear.

    It is taking way too long to restore the Patelco network. Remember - it has started on June 29th - and as if July 13th we still cannot access the data. One can build a new bank for that time! And what if all balances now are $0.00 ?!??!?!!

    What do the lawsuits mean to the members not directly involved in the suits? Should people reach out to tell their stories to help the suits?

      The lawsuits aim to hold the company accountable for the data breach. Whether you directly join the suits might depend on the specifics (better to consult a lawyer). However, sharing your experiences with the lawyers involved in the suits could be helpful.

    I trust patelco and will continue to a be a member. They have always been good to me. I've been a member for over a decade. This attack has been scary, but ultimately, I think it will be ok. My main concern now is them going out of business because of lawsuits. The lawsuits seem predatory. Kicking a company while they are down.

      Lawsuits can be a double-edged sword. While frustrating, they can also push for stronger security in the future. Hopefully Patelco weathers this and comes back even better.

      Well, your thoughts are one way to look at it. But , all banks have a fiduciary responsibility ( at a minimum by ensuring the safety and accessibility of their funds) by protecting their customers' assets and information. There is no arguing this fact.

    Look, heads need to roll, starting at the CEO level and the Executive levels responsible for data security . Nothing else would be acceptable to me as a Patelco member, which I am. If these people are not worried about loosing their jobs, something is wrong with Patelco's Board of Directors. Then, I need to seek my banking services elsewhere.

    Im a online seller on ebay and others and im scared to deposit money into my account how do I know if it arrives or not so im not able to pay myself

      i cannot change the bank payouts on ebay until i can provide my account number from patelco.....i opted for paperless and have no idea what the account number is now......neither do the service reps.....so i cannot get an ebay payout until they come back up. ridiculous

    Thank you for the information. We’re still recovering from CDK hack. That hack cost dealerships a lot of money. CDK probably getting sued by many dealerships.

    My account went negative for the first time ever for absolutely no reason after the hack and I’m really concerned I made a dispute. I really hope they cover the overdraft fees like the website says.

    I was patient. I only keep my emergency fund there. I have 2 others elsewhere. I don't do any transactions or checking there. I got lucky I guess.

      No evidence has suggested they have, but that doesn't mean much. People are correlating BTC transactions all day so that the dots can be connected at anything. It's still early.
