Midtown madness 3 is difficult to run with a decent framerate unless you have a really good system. I don't so I can only run about 25 fps on 1x resolution. Haven't tried PGR1, but rallisport challenge 2 runs okay for me. I can play that at 2x resolution
i get very low FPS like 5 FPS and my computer specs are good enough. i even turned off threaded optimization on nvidia control panel but it doesnt fix the issue like others have said it does.

Hi, Thank you for the tutorial. I am having issues with Xemu: after loading an xiso (Midway Treasures 2) the screen is mostly Black and White split diagonally. Game can somewhat load, but largely unplayable. I tried the xbe file on CXBX and all loads well. So i thinking its something with set up for xemu? Any advice would. I retrieved all files from your video except my iso. Thank you
One thing i always recommend is using both emulators. Some games work on one and not the other. Its the same with the switch emulators, both are best to use, not one or the other.

I can launch the xiso converted file just not sure why no video shows (Including on launching screen, just audio)
I can't get it to properly load any games, even as xiso files. I did everything exactly as described up to that point. Mounted the three files required to run the emulator, and every file fails to load and run. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Im trying to get the emulator to run NBA Inside Drive 2003 but no dice, when I try to mount the file externally it says that that disc image file is corrupted, internally it just doesn't work. I downloaded it from Vimm's as I am sure many others do.

My system is pretty weak. I have an old i7-4770, RTX 2060 and 16gb RAM and I can only play the game on 1x internal resolution with an acceptable framerate, if I try 2x resolution the framerate hovers around 25fps. It's LLE emulation so you won't get the speed of a HLE emulator like CXBX Reloaded but the compatibility is much better.

Funny enough that I had to fiddle with some settings outside the xemu to get it working this on xeon x5675 and gtx 1060 still with 60 fps in menu then a single run it hovers around 30fps which is terrible the pcsx2 emulator does things alot faster compare to xemu is falling behind with time

Too bad, 2023 update seems to make performance bad for my PC setup. I could get Ninja Gaiden 60 fps with 1x internal resolution before using AMD APU. Now all I see is stuttering everywhere and every game.

It was still fine running DoA Ultimate, Ninja Gaiden, and XMen Legend smoothly. I checked the changelog of the update since Jan & found no some kind of major change to emulator core.
I’ve been trying to play Shaolin Monks, but as soon as the cutscene ends and the game starts my frame rate drops to 6 and I have no idea what to do since I run current game at max quality :( Is there something I can do?

Jay check the MCPX bin If your MCPX dump has an MD5 of 196a5f59a13382c185636e691d6c323d, you dumped it badly and it's a couple of bytes off. It should start with 0x33 0xC0 and end with 0x02 0xEE. so i definitely got the MCPX bin file from the site he used. its a bad file.
Make sure you are using the correct versions of the files as you can't mix and match different bioses with different boot roms. I use the following: MCPX Boot ROM: mcpx_1.0.bin Flash ROM (BIOS): Complex_4627v1.03.bin Hard Disk xbox_hdd.qcow2 EEPROM: eeprom.bin I've read some reports that users having this issue have resolved it simply by using the mouse to stretch the window to manually resize the window slightly. Worth a shot if nothing else works

having a problem with the complex file won't extract the RAR file and only opens with notepad.
what are you trying to extract?
just leave that file in the bios folder.

I believe the window needs to be in focus. If you tab away it wont pick up on the inputs. Let me know if this helps.
