If they are not illegal why, when French police were assaulted by two of these people, when they reached England, they were arrested and charged, not with assault, but with entering the country illegally, and went to prison? By this definition of English law, people coming on the boats are entering this country illegally and therefore are breaking the law.
This is why the UK government tell the border force to go out into the middle of the English channel and pick them up so they won't be breaking the law then, this is how they get around not having to jail them, sneaky move by very weak UK governments.

In Havering council tax is exorbitant, mainly because of social care. Which means housing immigrants in rented properties and B&B's. An average semi is currently nearly £3000 a year. Yet the council is basically bankrupt. The residents haven't a bottomless pocket and it isn't sustainable.
Well guess what if Europe doesn’t want them then neither does England , we must stop all incentives , terminate the Serco contract and d refuse all asylum applications.

ID cards won't change anything, it's the non action of the government that needs to change.

When aid agencies are actually coaching the migrants in the camps on what to say and to ditch all ID, it’s a mockery of the system.
If I wanted to cross multiple countries borders without a passport, I’d be turned away very quickly.

if you come illegally on boat you are eligible for benefit and claim asylum with free accomodation..
and otherside if you living illegally and came on visa from many year ago so you have to wait till 20 years..after 20 year you will be eligible for leave to remain in the uk..shame on them who made this rule..
