This is the first time I have found Professionals talking of our origins. God bless you guys. @Dr. Gitau Mbaria NRT is into Marsabit county now kindly in your move to help our people understand the gaps and the requirement for us to be involved in our own land use kindly engage us to get first hand guidance in doing this the right way.
I would like to thank the authors for the the book and exposé. I am one of the few indigenous Kenyans in the conservation space and I experience 1st hand how selective and racist the processes are. However the must be a separation of conservation from tourism for us to bring back truthful preservation of heritage and frankly the foreigners don't belong in this process.
Such an important conversation. Thank you for your work, voice, and passion. I learned so much and will continue to seek out more from you both, your book, and the many teachers leading this work.
Some seriously important food for thought from all participants in this video. I'd love to know what they think of their Kenyan representative at CITES CoP 19 earlier this year vehemently opposing the idea to be more inclusive of indigenous people at the convention.
Very insightful discussion however we need to realise that for a white supremacist to change it will not be about lessening arrogance, white supremacists understand consequences not reason
Very insightful. This was something I as a white westerner never even thought about.
insightful. Things we never new and now we know.
