Madonna - Like A Virgin - May 1984 Recording

From November 1982 to March 1983, Madonna recorded and had her debut album produced by a roster of producers. It was released on July 27, 1983 and spawned several hit singles into early 1984.
By March 1984, Madonna was ironically becoming annoyed and was itching to record her sophomore effort, somewhat being prevented from doing so by some side projects and the unexpected success of her debut carrying on well into mid-1984.
In April 1984, she entered the studio to begin work on the album. During this time she first recorded Material Girl and then was presented this song, like a Virgin by May 1984. I will explain more later, as my research is not yet complete.

I think he met Madonna in February or March 1983. They were dating in early 1984, but were they still together by May 1984? She was already shooting this video in Florence, 2 months after this session in NYC.

Well, He and Madonna met in 1983 and they were dating since 1984 but I’m not sure if they were still dating when this was recorded but I found out Jellybean Benitez remixed the “Like A Virgin” song.
