She could wear a sack and look amazing! She is just so lovely! The Aston Martin that they drove to their reception in...Prince William forgot to take the parking brake off!
And Prince Harry decorated the car, including the large "L" indicating a learning driver.🚘
That was Charles' vintage Aston Martin. Bet he wasn't too happy about Wills grinding the gearbox down the Mall. Poor guy must've been full of nervous excitement with his being the most watched wedding in history and his gorgeous bride next to him. Catherine looked flawless and hee wedding dress is my absolute favorite. I thought Grace Kelly's wedding dress was beautiful, classic, elegant, and respectful. Catherine's was like Grace's but obviously updated with the times with just enough of a modern edge such as the deeper V neckline all while retaining that vintage sophisticated style and all the adjectives I used describing Grace's dress. And the lace with the hook-and-eye buttons wity the little modern bustle and the sheer, simple veil. I loved tgat she didn't overdo the lace on the veil or gown and just recently read that the lace is specially handmade in England at special school or atilier for lace (if there is such a thing) that in the hand embroidered lace Catherine and the designer had the official state flower of each of the U.K. countries (Wales, England, Scotland, and Ireland--as a substitute for Northern Ireland) embroidered on the lace that she wore. I do wish she would've gotten a better tiara...a slightly taller one or wider one as the Cartier Halo is fairly narrow and short. (Hated Megnut's tiara. To me it's one of the worst in the Royal Collection. And don't get me started on her dress!!! Yikes. And she absolutely should NOT have been wearing white or any shades of white, ivory, creme, etc. She should've worn grey like Camilla did or even silver...as someone on their third marriage and approaching 40 looked a bit ridiculous, mainly the whole virginal blushing bride when Meg has been around the block or two.
KELSEY K. How rude are you it figures you are unable to be nice compliments you give and then at rhe end your true colors come out. About Meghan is that who you meant. Megan wore a very nice dress there are people that liked her dress and wedding. I try not to be jealous to bad Prince Harry married Meghan and has a family now .. he is off the marker. Meghan is a nice looking well spoken women.
They are such a delight. They depict happy family life They love each other, and they adore their children. They are a credit to us.

So funny!!!! Kate is quite happy to wear High street - in clothes and jewellery as is often mentioned in the mags. The problem then arises as the High Street stores run out of particular garments! And following family traditions.... Kate re cycles clothes and every outfit has at least one often several outings. I think the Queens fave handbag is 60 years old now? Still serves it's purpose so why change?
Good try at dissing them - but it doesn't really work when you have a memory.
As someone else has mentioned here she wears those outfits more than once. Also many of her jewels are borrowed from the Queens collection. The Duchess also wears non-precious jewellery too. You can find those ones in the High Street shops and they are often inexpensive so she doesn't just champion high end British goods.
Yes, and also costume jewelry found at vintage or antique shops. Good costume jewelry is sometimes more expensive than actual gemstones. Love costume jewelry!!!
For those asking how they make so much money here’s how : Kate still is a part of her family’s multimillion pound business , so makes most of the money from it . Whereas for William and the whole Royal Family : the whole country’s tax payers only pay for their met police security and foreign tours. When they purchase something they pay from their own pockets which is the they have got through their investments in a 1000 year old duchy that are lands that have been developed and have been looked after by the royal institution for 1000 years . For us as taxpayers it costs less than a pound which means all together we pay them 60 million pounds but in return they invest the money back into the country through lands/duchy and bring over 2 billion pounds each year into the country’s economy . Now that’s a pretty good investment
A $1,400 ring after the birth of William is not an extravagant gift. Actually, it's pretty cheap for diamonds.
$4.5m and $1.5m on renovations for 2 very old and historic British buildings is not that extravagant either.

No they are not allowed to accept gifts like that. That why Meg had issues as she was used to getting free dresses etc in turn for promoting it. Which is perfectly normal for actors/celebrities but it is against protocol for Royals.

The fact is, these are working wardrobes, and a sum is provided high profile individuals (both Kate's and Meghan's clothing allowance came from Clarence House and Jackie Kennedy's was provided by old Joe Kennedy) for their working wardrobes. Even the USA provides a FLOTUS wardrobe allowance when a POTUS isn't a very wealthy man...

In England, private school is called public school. So technically, the kids do attend public school. ☺️
@U Slavic I did a little research. A grammer school is a secondary school for kids 11 and older, with high academic grades. Kind of like middle and highschool here, with all AP classes. 😊 Usually, kids who want to attend University go there. Kids with lower grades, or who want to learn a trade, would attend secondary modern schools. A lot of European countries have similar secondary education systems.

The system you talk about with secondary modern schools and grammar schools existed in the past in the 1970s, not now. Then, you took a test, the '11 Plus'. If you passed this test, you went to a grammar school and got a better education and life prospects. If you failed, you went to a secondary modern. This whole system was socially divisive and was scrapped for the comprehensive school system, set up to provide a good education for everyone, regardless of ability. This schooling is free schooling, provided by the state. Grammar schools do still exist in some areas and clever children are cherry picked by these schools so that they have a brilliant exam record and can be top of the school league tables.
Public schools are fee paying schools where rich and elite people send their children. Their fees have always been high but have recently become astronomical because of the influx of the children of Chinese and Russian billionaires. An example of a public school is Eton, which Boris Johnson attended.
Private schools are also fee paying schools.
She is a lovely young woman and a true credit to the royal family unlike that thing that his brother married. They left the RF I say good riddance.

There is no double standard .Megan is the wife of the Harry who is 6th in line for the throne .Catherine is the wife of William who is second in line and she is a future Queen.It follows that Catherine is more important / significant than her sister in law and that rankles with the ambitious newcomer .The press make out there is rivalry between the 2 ladies but I think the rivalry arises from just one person and it is not Williams wife.

The tuition for top universities in America are very beginning expensive Our sons tuition was 60,000 dollars per year. The education was well worth it. My daughter is attending a state school which is 24,000 yr plus rental of of an off campus apt after sophomore year and it stinks
