This video clip gives you a brief insight into some of the many different qualification testings the WiSENT 2 has been put through during its evolution into the world's most modern, versatile and powerful armoured support platform based on the chassis of the Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank.
The modular WiSENT 2 vehicle architecture combines four (4) different roles on only one (1) common, highly protected platform:
Armoured Engineer Vehicle (AEV)
Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV)
Mine Breacher (MB)
Bridge Layer (BL; not shown in this clip)
The WiSENT 2 AEV is FFG's cutting edge contender in the Bundeswehr's replacement program of the venerable Pionierpanzer Dachs.
