Boost Infinite is currently giving you $1,000 off an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max. Don't miss it: boostinfinite.pxf.io/vNm6nO
How fast are your data speeds? Find out with the free SpeedSmart app - speedsmart.net/app
yeah, I’ll stick with US Mobile’s $25 plan with
Real premium data
they’ve got Verizon and T-Mobile. I wish they would get with AT&T.
Always helpful and interesting. Keep doing what you're doing, Stetson. We'll be here to support you.
It's a lie man. Don't believe it. I might get 12 mpbs with at&t and live 5 minutes from the store. I'm a premium customer. Same for my Hotspot. These are rigged lies.
thank you for the testing
Great job! Nice work!
Great video! This was what I needed to see to steer clear of boost infinite. Big shame because I really wanted to try out dish’s native Network. Looks like I’ll be sticking to my US Mobile for me and plan.
How about a test with consumer cellular? I wonder if they use priority data on ATT?
Glad you did this.. I almost switched to Boost for the iPhone.. glad I didn’t.
hey do u plan to resume posting to ur patreon or continuing ur podcast
If you want "network switching", just get two eSIMs and program a shortcut to automatically or manually switch between them. If you want a new iPhone every year, just buy it yearly and sell it.
You think dish would only relie on att in places they don’t have native service yet. Would be interesting to see if 5G+ was any different
Stetson how does Red Pocket mobile speed compair to the others on ATT ?
have you done a cricket vs ATT?
Depends on what SIM you actually have.
II don't even think you can get the AT&t SIM anymore as even on your own website it only says boost infinite and boost Mobile is available on T-Mobile's Network.
I think results may vary greatly depending on where you are. I have Boost Infinite in upstate New York. I don't know if my data is de-prioritized on AT&T's network but I seem to be getting really good speeds. It's just about always over 60Mbps. I checked on Ookla Speedtest just now and got 163Mbps. Considering I'm getting great service and only paying $25 a month I'm ok with getting deprioritized but it would be nice if Boost Infinite was upfront about it.
When you’re paying 25 bucks a month for 30 gb of data, it’s throttled. I mean come on that’s just common sense.
Around my area, im getting 450+ mgps on boost infinite, but i believe it is on the T-Mobile network
You should do the speed test comparison between US Mobile's GSM 5G & T-Mobile
I did this myself The last few months. Warp 5G Verizon was way more more consistent in both coverage and performance as compared to T Mobile
Northern California
@@andreyka64In a certain location in Mendocino County, my father (US Mobile Warp) is getting slower speeds than me (Mint Mobile).
So not sure, but everything points to Verizon having better coverage than T-Mobile at the very least (just maybe not speed).
You should add Firstnet into the test too
What’s the difference in packages and prices of these three?!
I get about 300gb of premium data on starter sometimes the data is so wacky and so slow and sometimes the premium data is so fast and efficient that i can stream descent most of the time
I use one phone. I get 30 MB/s download speed. Thats very fast and I pay $25 a month. I have Wi-Fi so I never use that much cell data. I love my service and iPhone 15 Pro Max from Boost Infinite. I switched from AT&T where I paid $52 a month for 4 gigs of data.
I wish you had a cricket phone on the $60 plan too. Curious if it has “priority” data.
Actually I had Cricket Wireless for a month and I didn’t have a problem
Cricket is horrible, I had it in an area where normal ATT worked just fine. I experienced disconnects and HORRIBLE speeds. It also has clueless customer service, but that is to be expected only costing 60$. I think similar to how Visible used to be for Verizon, Cricket is not fully att somewhere somehow. Something is routed differently or something. The other thing to note is ATT elite / premium has it's own reserved "lane" on the network. "Primum data" on cricket does not access this lane, it accesses the same lanes as the other ATT plans. This may be where I got less speeds, but it does not explain the random disconnects which never happened using ATT in the same areas. I mean the data would go literally dead / off, not slow down lol off. This was all less than a year ago with a newer phone too, it is possible it is better now, but who knows. I just someone replying to me on reddit saying that something within Cricket is routed differently on the network and that is why I had the issues. Who knows if they were right or wrong, but it seemed to make sense at the time to me.
@@A42yearoldARAB I'm on Boost Mobile now like my father,I have an iPhone SE 2nd gen black 128 GB
The second story is how awful AT&T is here in Denver lol. I'm starting to see more midband going up around Littleton but it's not very performant and it's quite random where they choose to put it. They have so much work to do.
Yes! AT&T is SO BAD. I need to get off the AT&T network asap lol.
That said, AT&T is surprisingly good in the mountains. Just not good in Denver or the surrounding cities!
@StetsonDoggett as soon as I'm done paying off this darn samsung s23 plus with my verizon plan I'm porting out and taking my phone over to metro.
@@StetsonDoggettare they still randomly assigning people to network? Or are they finally giving consumers the choice? Tmobile’s map is misleading in my area, and if it’s a crapshoot, there’s a probability that tmobile will be what they “randomly” assign.
@@sadiegirl9100 metro is trash spotty T-Mobile towers go to AT&T
Quick question, do you have to ask Boost Infinite to put you on the AT&T network if they put me on the T-Mobile network?
Nice video! Stupid question. Why would I pay for more speed/Mbps, when the minimum requirements for watching, Netflix/RUclips, browsing and scrolling through social media, is around 10 - 15 mbps? I mean, what use would I have for, let's say 100 mbps, when i'm on a mobile device? Most phones can't even show 4k. And even if it could, it wouldn't be that noticeable, on such a small screen anyways - unless, you are casting it to a TV, and in that case, you would probably already be on wifi. And in most cases, you can't even watch more than one video at a time on your phone.
As a boost infinite customer, I’m very disappointed.
What cricket wireless $60 plan
Dang. I’m so used to my Verizon. I get upwards of 1 gbps down and 125 mbps up
Actually boost infinite uses all 3 major networks with smart switching
They probably meant priority data on Boosts 5G network
I am honestly unsure if they even have priority tiers set up on the Boost 5G network!
@@StetsonDoggettthey shouldn’t need QCI values for awhile considering the majority of the few customers they have aren’t even able to access their native network.
Stetson be careful you just exposed Boost wont be surprise now if they come after you lol
Dish doesn't have the money to go after people or companies right now they are in so much financial turmoil even tho they have merge with EchoStar still they have alot of work ahead.
@@sadiegirl9100They basically have to re-“tool” or rebuild basically, all of their Mid-Level Orbit & High Level Sats basically just backup or “back haul” some of the data that the Mid-Level Orbit sats can’t catch these days. Basically though, their BROAD range or high level orbit sats all need to be rebuilt & upgraded, because 60-80% of them are from the early 2000’s & things have come a LONG long way since then. A few have been re-tooled in orbit to offer some better speeds & new bands a couple of times, but in essence, because the original payload wasn’t preconfigured for performance in the FUTURE as well as current generation tech, the satellites are still Stone Age compared to say, Sat Systems & Internet in Japan 🇯🇵
I wish boost would let me pick ATT... They give me TMO which is horrible in my area
is boost a MVNO?
Yes
Good video comparison. I’ve done similar tests as I’m with Optimum Mobile which uses T-Mobile. Optimum Mobile is definitely slower speeds vs T-Mobile. It’s safe to say the MVNO companies do not offer premium speeds. However, depending on the price…slower speeds may be fast enough.
I think they meant Premium data is faster than none Premium when they start shaping your speeds more aggressively. So they buy none Premium network access - which they call Basic or Premium and on top of this, they cut your speeds - regular data speeds. Since you have nothing to compare within their network, we can conclude that you get the highest speeds within the Boost brand, but nothing to compare to MNO they resell
yeah premium doesn't mean prioritized so it can be max speed but a lower network priority
Well I just tried this test with my boost infinite phone I got 344mbps down and 22 Mbps upload.
Is T-Mobile home Internet deprioritize?😊
Yes, phone users will always be priority. But this is less of an issue with Tmobile than it is with Verizon which is very congested with older towers in alot of areas.
Could you do one for US Mobile and Mint Mobile
can you explain what a rainbow esim is?
Do a helium mobile review please.
Do they use att network
Nope helium uses t-mobile
@@ounsreykhmer i have save almost $400 in my cell phone bill.. service is great and price.
T-Mobile sucks in ILLINOIS lol they get 1 bar at my house AT&T and Verizon is better with 2/3 bars sprint was better with 3 bars on LTE and 3G/1x full bars I use att as my main provider
Ironically all 3 display 5G (up to 1Gbit/s according to the standard) :)
5g gets way faster than 1gbps bro the highest speed is 5gbps in usa on verizon
@@Cory69truth, but the only question is WHERE can we get such a speeds :)
any major city that has mmwave really@@AlexanderMolochkov
Unfortunately, in my location AT&T was still Faster regardless of boost infinite's claim of 30GBof premium data, oh and for me to even get faster speeds.
I had an pay $5more to boost that up to 50GB of premium data, then I actually fail a deference.
Even then, when I was on AT&T unlimited starter, it was still faster by at least 10 to 20 Mbps.
So you dont ever roam onto T-Mobile only AT&T?
My personal line was activated only on the AT&T network. Boost Infinite may also activate your service only on the T-Mobile network. The only way you get roaming is if you at activated on the Boost Smart Network, which uses Dish 5G, AT&T, and T-Mobile for coverage.
@@StetsonDoggett is there a reason you didn’t get the smart network? I feel like that’s their whole appeal lol
@@StetsonDoggett the early access plan is not able to go on the smart network. I am pissed about this since this is what was promised at the beginning of BI.
You're comparing a $25 dollar plan with a $65 and $85 dollar plan. How is that fair?
I mean, it’s 25.00 a month. Reading these reviews i’m not sure what people expect from MVNO’s. If you’re not happy, change your diaper and go to one of the 3 and pay over 100.00 a month just for service.
50.8 sucks so much
You just convinced me to downgrade my parents ELITE lines to starter, they barely (less than 2.0 GB)use any data and even with my employer discount, att starter would be $10 a line cheaper
I tried downloading SpeedSmart on my Pixel 5 (Android 14) but it crashes when i open it.
I thought Boost was a T-Mobile MVNO? Interesting that they have two different networks. Shame they can't mix them up with a double sim setup.
Boost Infinite will auto assign new customers either the AT&T, T-Mobile, or Boost Smart Network.
@@StetsonDoggett I'm guessing the Boost Smart network is some sort of hybrid based on bands of both networks. Since networks often share those in different areas, but I'm just intuiting.
@@Vespyr_boost smart network is dish wireless native network along with T-Mobile and ATT roaming.
@@StetsonDoggett Is there a way for new customers to request a specific network? i would prefer to land on AT&T, areas I travel to don't have great T-Mobile coverage.
Boost , boost infinite what ever they brand themselves as its just a mismanaged crappy MVNO.
Once again promising unlimited, when in reality it's not actually unlimited.
Just like mint mobile promising unlimited for $30, when in reality it actually not unlimited whenit slows down to unusable speed.
True unlimited data plans only slow you down when the network is busy.
FIRST!! FINALLY. I would like to thank the academy and my parents...
Poop Infinite
IDK why people use at&t. They are over priced garbage where I live.
Total scam. I have hrs of video recording their download speeds at not even 50% of fcc mandatory speeds. This is 1000% false advertisement
