An american S52, giving 315 to the tires on NA.... yeah right. The US S52 stock made 240 hp.... with a highly agressive cam and some mods headers higher compression you will not gain that much, would have been better to swap for eu throttle bodies.. Then you can get about 285 out of it at the crank, as that is how bmw rated its horsepower not at the wheels. .....A E30 convertible weighs about 2500 pounds... With the M20 it has a factory weight of 2560 pounds to be precise... The S52 engine is about 310 pounds, the original M20b25 is 253 pounds... I'm pretty sure his E30 is not 2000 pounds, you'd have to replace alot of the body panels and fully strip the interior... after some calculating this car will weigh approx at least 2650-2700 pounds... depending on which transmission, couldnt see if it was the automatic or 6 spd zf. and it also does not put 315 horse at the tires, that would mean it would have to make about 360 hp at the crank... no fuckin way you're gonna get that with some NA mods... you need forced induction for such numbers, and especially not with the still original intake system on it. So...sorry but i think im gonna have to call ricer talk on the e30 guy.

Yeah my gutted e30 M20 race car weighs 2400 pounds. But cool build overall numbers are just way off.

Not even a mazda miata is 2,000 pounds, uts damn near impossible to get one of those to 2,000 pounds and hes most likely pushin like 215hp to the wheels
