Talked with a journalist at a festival a few weeks back and he said when he interviews a band he always reads other interviews of them so he knows what not to ask. And be hones 90% of interviews it‘s 95% of the time the same questions.

I have got to agree with Knight on this. To me Mt Rushmore isn't about my favorites. My Rushmore is about commemorating the people who found and built America into what it was at the time Rushmore was carved. So to me I cannot name four other people who have changed wrestling into what it is today more than Hogan, Rock, Austin and Flair. Hogan was the first polarising fan favorite face of the company, the Cena of his time. Flair was the first dastardly heel who incorporated extensive character work and amazing promos into his wrestling, no one was as dedicated to playing a character as much as Flair was at that time and he spawned more than a couple of generations of people who modeled themselves after him including some of my favourites like HBK, Y2J and the like. Rock and Austin took feudal storytelling to a whole new level making their rivalries last for years and years. They basically made the blueprint for how to create stars out of amazing rivalries. So yeah, my Mt Rushmore is the same as Knights. If we're talking favourite four wrestlers, then it's Y2J, HBK, HHH & RKO.

I saw how talented and the potential back maybe 6 months after he debuted as Eli Drake. He's just settling more and more into his character and clearly getting SO over. My humble opinion is that he just needs to be careful to be HIM and not just a Rock copy (which he's doing well enough but there are times....) And he's going to the top He also comes over so well in interviews. Seems like a good guy

PG rock wasn't exactly peak rock imo, everyone was just hyped to see the rock again so it felt cool but he was kinda sloppy on some of his promos. LA knight has kinda mastered the PG flow.

Hogan's definitely in no shape to wrestle, and although I am a huge Stone Cold fan, watching his last match against KO just demonstrates how ill-equipped he is to wrestle anymore (probably one of the saddest and sloppiest performances in his career) and it's best if he just hang up his boots. The Rock is the only one who is in some shape or form to wrestle.

Hulk Hogan is an interesting pick. A lot of modern wrestling fans hate on him for his lack of in-ring ability compared to many all-time greats, but his character work was always a highlight and he got the fans behind him big time. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a big inspiration for LA Knight.
I dislike Hogan as a person because of some of his choices outside the ring but NO ONE can deny his contribution to the business. He HAS TO BE on everyone's mount Rushmore simply because of name and pop culture recognition. That's my exact list, if the pool you're drawing from is wrestlers from post-territories US promotions. If you want to have a pure WWE/WWF Mount Rushmore, and include the WWWF era when Vince's father still owned it, there's an argument that Andre the Giant belongs on the list over Flair, or maybe even Bruno; likewise if you want a pure WWE/WWF Rushmore that starts with Vince purchasing the company and taking it national, there's an argument for Cena over Flair. Flair did his best work as the touring NWA champion at the end of the territory years, and into the start of JCP/WCW essentially becoming the exclusive home of that champion and that title's lineage. He had a run at the top in the WWF but if you look at that run alone, it doesn't come close to touching what he did outside the company. JBL carried the title for more days than Flair did, and at a better-drawing time in the company's history, and JBL isn't on anyone's Mount Rushmore unless you're making a Mount Rushmore of clotheslines.
