Don't forget to Export the Image Profile before downloading it. This takes some time to compile. Other than that, awesome refresher. Thank you!

Awesome! After hours of powershell commands and many errors, this was simple and efficient!

Had no idea you could do this. Thank you for making the video and sharing your knowledge!

This is so helpful. I'm hoping to get a problem with my NUC10 SSD repaired by following this. An idea for a future video would be how do you get esxi back to the way it was after deployment.
    The walkthrough was clear. Thanks!

I just wish VMWare would make their tooling less finnicky and easier to install.. It's such a pain every time I try to use PowerCLI... Thanks for this method, way cleaner!

Thanks for the video, is so helpful. It's possible add the following kernel option cpuUniformityHardCheckPanic=FALSE when creating the ESXi bootable installer?

Useful video. Few months ago I decided to upgrade my ESXi host 6.7 to 7.0, and now all the VMs are unable to recognize the Network Adapter. Thinking of re-installing the host with this custom ESXi ISO without losing VM/data. Do you have any idea on how this can be done?

Did you ever figure it out?

When you use the new iso, esxi - booting with it gives you the option to UPGRADE and retain existing data. It just updates the OS. Have fun!

@@pbardavi As Ive said, the OS has been upgraded successfully, and it does retain the existing data upon selecting it during the process.

Can I add realtek 8111 driver by this way?

There are only certain drivers that are compatible for adding into the custom ISO. I don't believe realtek is one of them
