That's true. But students can get some part-time jobs not exceeding the maximum weekly work hours for students. The good part is that you can at least fully study for free and even maybe get the dormitory for free, but part-time jobs help students who need more money and financial support.

In case of SAT, if you don't have any experience in taking SAT tests I really advise you to check out this site www.collegeboard.org/ and read about the tests. This site also has free SAT tests that you can actually take and have some understanding of what the test is like in real life. Better to print the tests out and work on them. In case of math exams for KAIST, they usually take math exams from Koreans but not international students, so don't worry about that. But for more detailed information about the exams and application process please refer to this email creative.adm@kaist.ac.kr. The admission office will answer all your questions. All the international students get scholarships automatically once they get accepted. The only time u have to pay for tuition is if u dont maintain your gpa during the studies

If you get into these unis they will not ask you for any tuition fee deposit since they are totally free for international students. But if you want to pay tuition fee deposit when you will be in korea, then I think you need to come to korea before the deadline of tuition fee deposit. But the best suggestion that I can give you is to CONTACT THE UNIVERSITY of your choice where you are applying or got in and ASK ALL YOUR QUESTIONS from them. I DONT WANT TO GIVE FALSE INFORMATION since I'm not part of any university or even uni student. I wish you luck tho
