Can I ask what your truck idles at? I have a 96 12v it’s a 5speed and it idles at 500rpm should I turn it up some?

My truck idles around 750 rpm. If your truck has stalling problems then increase the idle. Increasing the idle also helps the engine start faster.

Did you let the truck sit overnight before the oil change? Thats my trick so oil does not come pouring out of the filter when I remove it!

The truck sit overnight and then I changed the oil the next morning. I revved the engine to warm up the oil before draining it.
